I'm back at it again, (a trip report, not Riding of the Bull) and I have a multitude of pictures yet again! This was my third time at Six Flags Great Adventure and what I believe was my second ACE event.

 

On this trip report, for the first time ever, I attempted to weed out the out of focus pictures . If there is a picture that wasn't the most focused, I'm blaming you for setting your expectations too high.

 

Now lets begin perhaps.

 

We were there before 9:30 so we had to wait a while for Nitro to start running.

And after an hour of Nitro we go to Joker!

Almost there I think

Well that was definitely something. SFFT here I come

I wanted to do El Toro because I'm told it's empty in the first hour of the day.

...empty because everyone goes to Kingda Ka.

I should add that I was in a group including some of the people I was with during a certain trip in August.

They wouldn't let me split from the group

So now we did Zumanjaro.

At this point it was about 40 minutes after the park opened.

Yo dots?

Could it be time?

It was and now we're going to Bizarro

I really feel like waiting half an hour for two dispatches.

The ride operator was pretty funny though

"Bizarro's flamethrowers are the closest I've gotten to fire since I went to a Rammstein concert"

We didn't get on the log flume but we did get on the Sky Ride

Just having the portion of the phone with the camera over the edge was scary enough

But I have a protective case so it could survive falls... probably

Well guess what ride this was

Ignore what we're in line for and look at the ride they've been deconstructing for a while

Dots!

It broke down but everyone insisted on waiting

Yup

Back row was intense. Painful, but intense. There were numerous enjoyable moments and even more painful moments

Behind the scenes tour!

This makes the gap in the transfer on Volares look like nothing

According to a tour guide, Kingda Ka had/would have had a queue line similar to TTD's but the state law said no no

Lots of supports to hug

It's a unique experience to say the least

This map flew off the ride and I caught it

Bizarro time! Even more huggable supports

If you ever do a behind the scenes tour make sure you put your ears against a support beam.

I should make hugging supports the new trend

There's so many to choose from

Nice TR. I don't think I've ever tried Green Lantern in the back, only the front. Those stand-ups can be too uncomfortable even up front so I shudder what the back could be like.

The ride in the back is very intense . There's a nice pop of air on the transition after the inclined loop and off the brake run and in the back it's . The turnaround after the lift is very interesting in the back as well.

Not that I'm exactly old and I'm making it sound like I am with this statement, but when I was your age I enjoyed stand ups too. Now at my old age of 28 my legs can't handle them any more.
