The Angry Darren Mullins
I went to Guiyang twice this summer. I visited one park each time. Hebin Park (June 28th, 2016): This is also called Riverside Park. It is in the middle of downtown and has many rides. There are two coasters here. RCDB lists Spinning Coaster, which is from Golden Horse. There is also a Golden Horse fruit worm coaster here that is not on RCDB. It is one of 350 coasters I have found before ACE or RCDB. The rides here are standard Chinese park fare, but it is a nice park. Guiyang Happy World (August 19th, 2016): This park is in the north of the city and was built on the site of Baiyun Park (White Cloud Park) which used to feature rides before Happy World came into existence. Baiyun Park still exists, but it is much smaller. Guiyang Happy World is gated. Some old Baiyun Park facilities now stand in Happy World. There are three coasters here, but King Of Kings, the inverted coaster is currently closed to replace restraints. I did ride the kiddie coaster and the looping coaster. This is a very nice park, but there is one sour note. Admission is 160 RMB ($24 USD) and gets you a ticket for one ride on each of the attractions. This means one ride only on each coaster. The two coasters I rode today bring my track record up to 1010 coasters. Guiyang Happy World became my 497th park. I am very close to my 500th park and hope to hit it in a day or two. June 28th of this year was imy first trip to Guyang and I visited Hebin Park. This big wheel is inside the gate. There are other rides here too. Yes. They have one of these damned things too. This is at Hebin Park and it is not on RCDB. I got to ride it. They let big kids ride too. On August 19th, I went to Guiyang a second time and visited Guiyang Happy World. This is just inside the gate. Sadly, it is closed to replace the restraints. I have been on others like it. I wish it had been open. I got many photos of it. Here is the first drop. Here is the view from the Ferris Wheel. You can see how big the Ferris wheel is. There is a kiddie coaster here. This one is open. Many people were enjoying it. I took a spin on this ride. There is another big coaster here. It is a loop and cork that is taller and has two loops instead of one. Here is an action shot to finish off the TR. Living_Dead
That one "Twister" flat ride looks like it needs a major refurb. The grey skies, and the lack of people kinda remind me of a Silent Hill like environment with rides. Idk why though
