AllisonY2K
I got bored with my other 2 parks for now and decided to build a 3rd one. A flat park with a little theming. The *plan* was to have like a Rock n' Rollercoaster themed/20s themed/city theme. Well.....yeah, it was a good idea in theory. Okay, part of the park turned out well, I'll get to that in a second but first a little bit about the rides. First up is my Ghetto Rock n' Rollercoaster, Starring....eh...they cancelled at the last minute. I tried to build a building around the ride, and I got as far as 2 panels all around on the roof and I don't think the rest of it will fly. So, I left it open-air..like the stadium the Cowboys play at. yeah...that's the ticket. (shut up Allie and just go with it) but I had to take a pic with see-through scenery so you could see the ride itself. Next up is a pre-fab ride that I won't get into. I made the park so that guests like more intense rides. Well, this one is the ride they like the most. Go Figure. :? So I plopped it down with the lift hill spire (?) and end spire (?) over a pathway so riders can spit on the guests (no lie, that's why I did it), threw in some car scenery to make it seem like some hippy-fest and called it: DejaVu: just shut up and ride. I added the last part to silence the credit whores that will be standing in line saying "..it's just like the DejaVu at *such-and-such*." Well, it is. Get in line, get your credit, and shut up. Hey, you know what I just noticed? You can see part of the G-RnR building from this picture, as well as the phallic-looking "Power Tower (ohh yeah, baby!)". At least I think that's what it's called. Eh, you get the idea. NEXT RIDE! This ride is called Sky Jinks. Hmm..why does that name sound familiar. Oh yes! Activision made a game for Atari with that name. How coincidental that it also has an airplane/airshow/whatever theme to it. It does it's little thing around the seaport and passes by a makeshift not-quite-a-runway (note the crashed plane) and does a few twists and turns before coming back to the station. and here's the not-quite-a-runway and seaport in better detail. Note the attention to detail, the realistic depth of the lake, and of course the crashed biplane. I spared no expense with this theming..which interestingly enough was $0.00. This was thrown together for fun. Don't take this park seriously because, well, I don't. Just look at the ride names...yeah..all kinds of serious there. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my tour and at least got a slight chuckle, groan, or eyeroll out of it. If you really, really want to see the park I can upload the saved game file, but I'm not expecting too much demand for it.

pvcoasterguy
Kind of ghetto? Yes. Cool? Yes. I love these kinds of parks. It's just a ton of fun to sit down and screw around with Roller Coaster Tycoon. And the beauty of it is that you never know what's going to come of it! It could be a ghetto park or something totally different.
