Pretty self explanatory topic. I'm curious what people consider to be the overall best year for B&M coasters in terms of the number of top quality rides they produced. For me it's probably 1999 because we got:

-Apollo's Chariot at BGW, the first B&M hyper.

-Bizarro (Originally Medusa) at SFGAdv, the first floorless.

-Georgia Scorcher at SFOG, the last and perhaps most enjoyable stand up.

-Incredible Hulk at IOA, one of the most iconic B&Ms in my opinion with an awesome, admittedly non-B&M, launch and a fantastic layout.

What do you guys think?

You forgot Afterburn

and you forgot Raging Bull!

And Dragon Challenge.

I agree 1999 was the best year (when you include all the coasters!)

1999 was the year with the most coasters, yes. 1994 might not have had so many ones but we still got raptor and nemesis, some of the most iconic B&M coasters.

Very true. I'm also a fan of 2000 with all the floorless coasters we got, though perhaps I'm in the minority on loving floorless coasters.

Kraken at Seaworld Orlando, Superman Krypton Coaster at SFFT, Medusa at SFDK, and Dominator at Kings Dominion (Originally at Geauga Lake), plus Katun the invert over in Italy is a pretty fun line up to me.

Admittedly, of that list I've only been on Kraken, but it turned out to be the surprise hit of my trip down to SWO and BGT this year. The elements are a little more drawn out than 90s B&Ms like Kumba or Montu, but I loved the ride and loved the floorless aspect personally.
