Six flags great America has a good solution to the problem.

 

This it what they were doing on sunday.

 

 

I feel that this would be an amazing idea. if there was some what to insure that the paper did not get destroyed. Then again the guest should know you can't board an airplane with out your paper ticket, the same with the roller coaster.

At least at my home park (SFSTL) the resources would be better spent with fully staffing the rides with OPs rather than a bunch of guards watching monitors.

If line jumpers don't give a damn about anything to the point that they will cut in line (and risk getting kicked out of the park) they aren't going to care if they get posted on Twitter for it.
