The only way RCT & thrillville are similar is that you can build rides and operate your own park, and that's just in VERY a general sense. Other than that they are WORLDS apart. RCT is more of the fully customizable theme-park builder with the more finer details. Thrillville focuses HEAVILY On mini-games, and also the social scene, and barely anything else.
