Just for a note that there is no custom scenery and the park isn't downloadable. Enjoy. Let the project begin. SCR1.BMP Isn't it great to walk over a river to an entrance? What do all parks need? A beautiful entrance. SCR2.BMP So much trees! It looks like this project is going to go for a long time. SCR3.BMP An official landmark. Let us never forget about the Great Platinum Hill which is the main attraction of the park (walk-on expansions in the future).SCR4.BMP Something is going on here. This empty spot means that something is coming... SCR5.BMP Something is coming. Construction is under way for the first ride in Platinum Hills. SCR6.BMP The first ride is here! May we present to you the Platinum Carousel...and Information Kiosk. SCR7.BMP Something is new here. What makes scenery better? Scenery with benches and trash bins of course. We're just going through the trees. Nothing to see here. SCR10.BMP It's just trees. Just look at the waterfall and keep looking at the waterfall. SCR11.BMP It's just a waterfall. Trees are cleared out and the tree trunks are white and...wait a minute. SCR12.BMP White tree trunks. Thunder Eagle confirmed for 1963. A new coaster! That is it for the 1962 season. 1963 update coming soon.
SingleRiderCam Posted June 1, 2013 Author Posted June 1, 2013 1963 Update with Thunder Eagle construction. We are back for the 1963 season and we have a surprise for you. SCR13.BMP The 1963 Season. Thunder Eagle construction is now taking place. SCR14.BMP Thunder Eagle! Progress is coming for the lift hill and first drop. SCR15.BMP The lift hill. The first drop is complete and more construction is underway. SCR17.BMP First drop complete! The turn-around point is complete. SCR18.BMP Turning. I spot a double-up and a double-down. SCR19.BMP Double double. We are getting to the final parts of the ride. SCR20.BMP So much airtime. The main ride is complete! SCR21.BMP Complete! Something is missing here. SCR22.BMP What's missing? That's better. SCR23.BMP Chain lift is here! Station building in progress. SCR24.BMP The station. Thank John C. Allen for this beauty. SCR25.BMP The full layout. Testing is now in progress. SCR26.BMP Testing! Trim brakes are added to make the ride safer. SCR27.BMP Trims. Pathways are added to and from the ride. SCR28.BMP Paths! Station building is complete and a second train is added. SCR29.BMP So much progress! More groups of guests are coming in because... SCR30.BMP More guests. Thunder Eagle is now open! SCR31.BMP The guests love it! And to end the 1963 season, we built a Spiral Slide which we call "The Spiral". SCR32.BMP The Spiral. That ends it for the 1963 season. 1964 update coming soon.
historyfreak92 Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 I sure love that Thunder Eagle! SCREECH! CRWACK! SSNAP! THWAK! Can't wait to see how this turns out!
SingleRiderCam Posted June 8, 2013 Author Posted June 8, 2013 We are back for a short update with the 1964 season. Just in case you hate the dark, we got some lamps for you. SCR33.BMP A pathway extension is added. I wonder why? SCR35.BMP So that is why. The Platinum Wheel has been built. SCR36.BMP And from that day, the park has been left like that for years.
SingleRiderCam Posted September 29, 2013 Author Posted September 29, 2013 Platinum Hills is finally here for a new update for 1974. Thunder Eagle is still as good as last decade. SCR37.BMP Instead of having a garden at the entrance, we now have a building. SCR38.BMP While we didn't post any updates, we added a path extension in 1965 with a new hedge maze called "Maze of the Hills" in 1966. SCR39.BMP And in the next year in 1967, we added Scrambler and...wait, what is that behind it? SCR40.BMP That is correct. Mine Rusher, the park's first steel coaster, has been added in 1970. SCR41.BMP And this is the main reason why people come back to this ride. No, not the break downs but the cross over of two of the trains.SCR44.BMP Here is the full layout of Mine Rusher. SCR45.BMP We also added a Haunted House, or Shaft, attraction and a Pirate Ship ride that doesn't fit with the theme but will move to another part of the park at sometime. (Both rides from 1968). SCR42.BMP And in 1971, we got Goldrush Falls, the official log flume of Platinum Hills. SCR43.BMP We wouldn't forget about showing the full layout of the ride. SCR46.BMP We added a few buildings to continue fitting the theme to the area. SCR47.BMP But the main reason we skipped to 1974 for updates is with these pieces for... SCR49.BMP ...our newest coaster, American Star. SCR48.BMP More 1974 updates coming soon with American Star construction.
DWLY101 Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Wow loving it so far! Mine Rusher looks amazing! Keep up that good work!
RougeOfVoid Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Looks like a nice start so far! If I were to make some suggestions though, they would be 1) Spice up thew terrain a bit more, add some diversity to those hills and dirt bumps ya got. 2) Add some stuff to the buildings, use different layers of stuff, put in extra rooms, and all sorts of stuffs. Hope that helped n,n'
SingleRiderCam Posted October 13, 2013 Author Posted October 13, 2013 Continuation of the 1974 season. American Star is almost complete! All we need is one more piece of track. SCR50.BMP Sorry if the picture of the crane putting on the last piece of track was cut off but the ride is now complete! SCR51.BMP And to fit the theming to the ride, we added a flower field of the American flag (the inaccurate version). SCR52.BMP The station is complete and more work is progressing through. SCR53.BMP The brake platforms are complete and all we need now is... SCR54.BMP ...an opening! American Star is fully operational and is taking many riders. SCR55.BMP And to end the 1974 update, we'll show you the new look of the Platinum Hill. SCR56.BMP This ends the 1974 season. More updates will come later on.
coolkid Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Another tracked ride's coming? That's really cool!
