OISU8P
When I took my cruise a few years back I noticed the pools on the cruise ship where empty when we first boarded and where full most of the cruise. A few times at port they where also empty. I assumed this was because putting the ship in port may cause it to spill over to much from the turns and such. The question I have is. Do they fill them with ocean water (somewhat filtered like Thunder Canyon at CP) or do they have storage tanks on the ship with water? I never went in one during my cruise to find out. Not because I am a cleanness freak, but because I was either to drunk or to hung over to go in. I also never even thought about this until after the cruise was long over. Jew
It's sea water. Some ships just filter the water, while others will Desalinate the water.
OISU8P
Thanks. Note to self, never try swimming if I take an Alaskan cruise.
Real
I do not remember the water on our Freedom Class ships being anything but normal water with the standard chlorine.
