The Angry Darren Mullins Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 I started my day at Heping Park. RCDB has a mouse listed as being here. The mouse coaster has been removed but there is a small kiddie coaster that is both running and rusting away. For 5 yuan (75 cents), I got six circuit on it. There are bumper cars and a paratrooper here as well as a few kiddie rides. That is about it for this park. Wuhan Zhongshan Park is a city park with a massive collection of rides including three coasters. There is a loop and corkscrew, a jungle mouse and a spinning mouse. The spinning mouse has cars that look like UFOs and track that makes it look like and Arrow/Morgan creation. After Zhongshan Park, I stopped at the Wuhan Zoo. There was a park here, but most of the rides have been removed. The mouse coaster (not on RCDB) and pirate ship still stand, but are blocked by a fence. The castle-like entrance to the rides still stands as well. After visiting the zoo my day in Wuhan ended. I will be back to Wuhan when the new Happy Valley opens. With the two new coasters I discovered in Wuhan, I have now found 66 coasters that weren't listed on any coaster census. I have just entered Heping Park. I came to Heping Park to ride the mouse coaster, but it is now gone. Turns out I can ride a coaster at Heping Park after all. Heping Park has an Outer Space Flying Car type coaster that doesn't have a helix. This small coaster was enjoyable. Heping Park had some bumper cars. The Paratrooper is Heping Park's biggest ride. I am now at Wuhan Zhongshan Park. This is one of the many beautiful scenes in Wuhan Zhongshan Park. The Carousel at Zhongshan Park is nice. This barnstormer ride looked like fun, but I didn't have time to try it. This was one of the many rides found in Wuhan Zhongshan Park. This became my 725th coaster. It is called Flying Saucer. What is this? It is In The Woods Flying Mouse. I finished my visit to Zhongshan Park with the High Altitude Roll Slider. I had enough time to visit the Wuhan Zoo before the day was over. This lake was in the zoo. What is this castle for? The zoo had an amusement park. This pirate ship was one of only two rides left at the zoo. The zoo also has this coaster that has since closed. After taking this picture I left.
packfanlv Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 I visited Wuhan Zhongshan Park and thought it was quite nice, but never heard of the other park. I actually really liked that jungle mouse and how it seems the trees had engulfed the coaster. Thanks for the report!
gisco Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 After seeing all the China reports you have done, I wish I had the time to do the TPR trip to China next year.
