robbalvey Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 (edited) Hey everyone! I case you haven't noticed we added a minor new feature that allows you to paste in a URL link with your topic description. This will help if you have a really active topic for a news item on a specific page. So for example, if it says "P. 310 - Really awesome news item!" and the page number displayed on the topic listing is like 325, this is will make it easier to click to where the actual update is. When you edit the first post of your thread, you'll see a "URL" box next to the "Description" box. Just paste the URL link in there of what page the latest update of your thread is on, and it will appear on the topic listing. You can see several of our topics currently use this. To find the link for a specific post, click on the post icon that appears on every single post in the forum. (See it up there?) Enjoy this new feature! It's "little" things like this we'll continue to do to improve the accessibility of the forum. --Robb Edited September 28, 2011 by robbalvey
beatle11 Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 This is definitely a useful new feature. Thanks Robb.
coasterbill Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 I haven't seen that on any other forums before. I like it!
