SoCalCoasters
I was in the chatrooms today and heard someone mention a prototype attraction from Giovandola called the "Terror Tilter" that was quite similar to Vekoma's Tilt Coaster, but more relieable/failsafe. It was displayed at IAAPA in 2000, does anyone happen to have any pictures of said prototype? Also, does anyone know any further information about the design, it really sounded interesting to me Thanks in advance, -SCC
liftsifter
Sounds interesting, I wonder if Giovandola ever did create any coasters?

robbalvey
^ Not to mention all those first gen Freefall rides, SFMM's Flashback, Cop Car Chase, the stand ups at La Ronde and Astroworld, and all those bobsled coasters. Sure, they were sold by Intamin, but they were actually Giovanola coasters.

Wow, I knew Giovanola had worked with Intamin on a few things, but I hadn't known they'd worked on Cop Car Chase, Flashback or the First Gen Free Falls.... Anyway, all articles I've found about this prototype are missing the pictures, so I still have no idea what this prototype looked like....
Gigalyte
It's weird and driving me freakin insane I can find info on IAAPA as far back as 98' 99 but it's like IAAPA year 2000 doesn't exist. Everything that leads to IAAPA 2000 has been removed, yet for every other year including the years before 2000 is there. The Gio Tilt debuted at the IAAPA 2000 and it's like it's been erased from history, I found sites that seam to cover IAAPA every year expect for 2000. The only site I've pulled up that covered IAAPA 2000 so far is Coasterbuzz yet all the info from the event is gone. It's looking like at this point the only way to get info/pics of the Gio Tiltcoaster is from Gio themselves and they no longer exist, I'm going to keep searching I must be overlooking something it has to exist somewhere out there on the interweb. DJeXeL
Giovanola manufactured a great amount of Intamin's rides.
