Ah....life is good at Adventure Springs in the new extended waterpark area. The wave pool has proven to be extremely popular, and has provided a fun way to cool off on those hot summer days. But we're afraid Tidal Zone only operates in temperatures over 60 degrees, and since we are well into September those days are getting rarer and rarer. We're debating whether or not to have a set operating schedule next season, where it closes without exception after Labor Day weekend. We'll try to release more information as quickly as possible.

Also, there will be no new addition for the 1982 season. But don't worry, it may just be because we're planning something big for 1983....or not, who knows?

1983

SANFORD, NC- Adventure Springs Amusement area is ready to debut their new attraction for the 1983 season, "Rickety Ranger". With a double helix and speeds of up to 35mph, this new roller coaster is fun for the whole family and should be a huge success with the kids not tall enough to ride the other rides.

This will be the park's second roller coaster, the first being "Jetstream", the famed Arrow-multi-looper located on the main midway.

"Rickety Ranger" will host a new themed area to an old abandoned mine village- and is also equipped with a souvenir photo system which takes your picture as you speed through a dark tunnel.

A new thrill ride, the "Scambler" will help complete the area and will potentially set up larger investments in the future as the room to expand is available.

If you were disappointed with no new additions in 1982, we hope this is a substantial apology! Two new thrill rides will dominate the park guests' eager need to ride more, more, more! The new area will be open with the park on April 8th, 1983...here's a picture to ease your wait.

Thanks, all of you. I really appreciate every comment

But, I'm gonna go back to scenario editor and make the park map larger. It's been bugging me that I might run out of space so I'd better get it over with now before I get a lot of work done on it. So I don't know how long it'll take to redo everything, so sorry if updates don't come very soon...

@CC9: I know, I know

Anyways, I'm currently redoing the park and it'll be a while until I catch up to the timeline again, thankfully I didn't get too far into the '80s....but I decided it'd be a good time to practice my building style and well I sure NEED all you guys' opinions on which one is better, the new or the old entry plaza.....thanks in advance!

Thanks to all of you. Any feedback is appreciated.

No pictures for now, but I decided to expand the park to give it a more complete feel. It now includes stuff like more pools, nature walks, more flats, and a theater. I cant wait until I get the timeline started back up again!

This screen is just money.

So is the newest one. But try the full castle stairs instead. And think of another idea for fences. A question. Why is the roof shaped towards the back of the beige building? It's usually shaped towards the front,

@B.A.B: Thanks! An whoops, forgot to do that, haha.

@MeMeMe: Hmm...I loved those fences. I'll see what I can do though.

@Dotro: What do you mean?

Oh and also, I'm afraid that I'm going to be altering the short timeline so far. No more Arrow coaster, but I will replace it with another star attraction, I hope you guys will love it when it's done!

No pictures for now though. But I do have an important question: What did you guys think of the two coasters, the multi-looper and the mine-train?

I was quoting a screen from few pages back. The one with the water thing and 3 buildings and the lounge white chairs with the puke

And the beige building. Normally themeparks puts the roofs towards the front so it looks more authentic. But in this case you've placed the roof at the back where the peeps wouldn't normally be able to see it.

Well, I discovered a way to make to increase the map size of my original park, so I decided to go back and just use that but now on a 200x200. (Used to be 120x120) I'm still reconstructing some of the buildings like the ones I showed you, though. Since it's spring break for me expect a lot of updates including the timeline starting back up with all the original coasters.
