Hey Everyone!

When I think of my favorite coasters/rides I usually think of the times I had on them or the people I was with at the time. So this thread is for people to talk about their favorite roller coaster/ride memory that happened while riding, waiting in line, or in some way linked to them.

Mine would definitely be my Walt Disney World vacation in 2006. I was going through a lot in my personal life at the time and had just met a great guy that spring. He told me wanted to take me away from all of my stresses. And that is just what he did. He surprised me and took me to Disney World for 6 days - just him and I. This was my first Disney vacation since 1995 and I had forgot how much fun it was. By the end of the trip I had decided eventually I want to move to Orlando so I can experience the magic as much as possible and maybe work there as well. Also this was my first vacation without my family - it made me feel so grown up lol.

Riding Nemesis Just as the park opened with a light drizzle. Woke me and my sister up and it was soo much fun! Wouldn't have happened if my dad didn't drop us of at the front of the main entrance at the start of the day. Good idea to all families with kids of ages 13+.

My best memory without a doubt was East Coast Bash at KD. It was my first ever TPR event and it was just a great day. Getting there before it opened and staying until after it closed was just awesome. Not to mention riding I 305 over and over. That is easily my #1 coaster. It was an excellent way to spend a day at the park.

The wonder of rounding the Cedar Drive going past Raptor, then Millie, then Mean Streak to Hotel Breakers on my first visit to CP in 2003, I wasn't jaded then. Later riding Dragster for the first time just before midnight.

Memorable for the wrong reasons, my first ride on a zipper when I was maybe a little below the height limit, I got hammered, that ride seemed to last 30 minutes. Also that night riding Luna Park Sydney's old Big Dipper - barely made the height limit.

The First time I went on goliath, at SFMM! I was scared out of my mind! Then my friend who had never gone on it said we needed to face or fears. There we went, into the entrance and we walked in a VERY dramatic way! It was hilarious to see peoples expressions. When we sat in the seats of the train, and pulled the bar down, I swore I was gonna pee myself. When climbing the lift hill, we kept screaming, COME ON STOP ALREADY! Meaning we wanted the lift to be over. We were freaking out! We looked down (Front seat) And we screamed louder than we ever have to this date! Looking down when your 280 feet up is insane and its very nerve-racking. We were both gonna cry when the car tipped over and down we went. The drop was scary and when it was over, immediately, we weren't scared at all. We had our hands up, and when we got to the airtime hill, we experienced the most insane airtime moment ever! Hitting the MCBR, we calmed down and knew the rest was pure fun from here. I was on the left seat, and when the car moved left off the brakes, I thought i was gonna fall out! If you've sat in the front on the left seat, you know what i'm talking about. The rest of the ride was great and is now our favorite roller coaster. That is my favorite memory!

Millennium Force with my daughter. She has loved theme parks and coasters since she was three, and was so proud of herself for being tall enough to ride it at age six. Yes, she loved it, and had her hands up going down the first hill. I was terrified.

Honestly, I'm going to hell for this comment...

The opening day of Pirate Shores at Legoland California in June of 2006, right after school had gotten out.

They had just finished placing the waterproof sealant (24 hours earlier?) and it was VERY slick. I watched as people slipped left and right, and I admit, it was funny to watch, and I was laughing my head off watching people go flying left and right, until I slipped...owowowowowowPAINow. Then, because of the massive amounts of slippage, they actually had to close the water area. On opening day. Fail.

That ties with the time on the Rapids ride at SFDK. We were having a grand old time, and it came to the final turn, and we laughed because my cousin had gotten hit with a huge wave. As I laughed, we went by the water cannons (the pay per squirt) and got a giant mouthful of water. It was so bad it was funny. After coughing and spluttering of several minutes and yelling several death threats to those who soaked me, we went on our way.
