Popcorn54
I have been away for a bit and have not been able to update this. I have done quite a lot since then with the park. ___________________________ Anyway during the parks regeneration the company is pumping lots of cash into this project and have made the park into 3 themed areas, Country Fair-which is the area around the Slc this is expanding more. There is a new ride of s&s space shots , Western world-Feutures Boomerang, Mine Train, Log Flume and New Intamin Family Lauch coaster, Pirates Cove-Still under contruction, Big dipper is unthemed but remains at the back of the park. Let's start off looking at the new country fair area The entrace, the building houses dodgems The two S&S combo towers The slc(Mind Eraser) Power Tower, Note the space behind it for future developments Twisters got a new paint job The chair-o-planes occupy Brakedance's old spot The Western Area, Western World One of two new attractions Mine train, Boomerang and Top Spin Log Flume The new Intamin Family launch coaster, Part of the 3 part ride deal The block brakes are on top of log flumes roof You can see from this photo, nothing much has happened to Pirate cove The entrace to the new area _____________ Some More Info The Big dipper remains sbno just now due to Pirate cove area blocked off, The reason constructions slow/stopped is due to waiting on a second hand ride form another park arriving. I have heard that The Park have signed a 4 Part deal with Vekoma which includes *Refurbishment of Mind earser, Some track is worn beond repair and it will see a new track style from them and the new four people trains. This was one of the first slcs and the previous owners rarely maintained it. I have heard the park may even replace the full track which may be easyer, the park are just able to operate the ride *A new rollerskater to replace the ageing Big Apple *Complete refurbishment of Boomerang,Opening in 1982 the protoype model it's not aged well. The ride is rusting and the 2 trains the park have are knackered. The ride got a new station but needs much more work. It's a landmark to the locals, like the Sky tower, they can't remove it. *New Coaster in Pirate cove area They have also signed a 3 part deal with Intamin, 2 of these have been completed *Half Pipe *Buffalo Chase, Lauched coaster *Unknown, rumors suggest near Power Tower and a water ride Please comment, I hope to update more often
A.J.
Ahem. Let me tell you this nicely before a certain beer man flips out over it - you need to use proper grammar when you present your park. I'll give you one shot to redeem yourself and present your update like you're proud of it - if you don't use proper spelling/grammar I will have to lock your topic (or release the hound, take your pick). Also, it would be great if you uploaded your images as attachments to our forum. You can caption them right here, and you don't have near as much of a bandwidth limit than you do on Photobucket. Your park looks okay, but you need to take the time to make it better and more detailed. ~AJR
Popcorn54
^ I am very sorry about my bad grammar, I am going to try and improve it. Unfortunately I can't upload to the trp server as my files are to big and I would have to resize them. ________________________ Here is a quick update from the park today, Due to the amount of guests in park the paths have been made wider and more fences have been added. The Slc's reliably it very bad, it is now down to one train due to the second train having to be used for spare parts. The sooner Pirate cove is open, the sooner the Slc is refurbished. Some fences have been added in preparing for Pirate Cove The area is near completion however is still waiting on rides to arrive A touch up on theming has happened for Tumbler The Tea Cups/Spinning Barrels were made in house More Fences have been added around the area I wonder if this will look any different with the new Slc track The Power Towers are still racing An Overview of some of the park The kid's coaster will be leaving soon. I heard the park want rid of this too. Comments and Suggestions please I have tried with the Grammar, Hope it's ok....

Popcorn54
it's been a while since I last updated this thread but The parks back now ____________________ The park have been having Financial Difficulties, and to make matters worse Vekoma Dropped out of the project due to many problems. The Mind Eraser track was dismantled however Vekoma dropped out and Handed the project over to B&M, This cost the park much more. The ride is my first custom supported ride so please tell me what you think. The Park is looking terrible and the park are trying to clean it up however with lot's of ride removals it is hard. The park is announcing a 3rd themed area soon replacing the temporarily country fair. Boomerang shall not be operating this season and is in a bad state due to no Maintaince. The Park have also annouced the removal of Wildcat for next year, this will be it's final season, it has been at the park since the 70's. Some of the rides removed are Enterprise, slide , Frog Hopper, Rock n tug and the dodgems. Anyway here is a few photos I took, not very many. Storm's looking good A path has been made between it and Power Towers A new Flat ride has been placed in Chairswings spot. The rides first drop. Some more of the ride the lift hill Train on the helix. Boomerang fenced off Screaming Swing was turned around in the off season as well as given a blue theme to go with the Tidal Wave themed area that is just starting to emerge. Screaming Swing Pirate Cove's looking great however no sign of the Big Dipper re opening soon. Surfs Up (Formely Half pipe) has got new supports to strengthen the structure and it's been re-painted. Wildcat, This photo won't be avalible soon. Comments Please!

Popcorn54
The Park has gotten a lot of negative press for the removal of rides so part secret the park has relauched the Twister coaster as Shockwave as a new experience, Thanks to b&m after the last success of Storm the park asked them to help and they extended they layout and modified things. The ride looks great and has now got a new lease of life. The park have now marketed as having 3 new coaster experiences. Also the park have released the park map for this year SHockwave testing The new station the entrance plaza Dodgems building still remains Half Pipe/Surfs Up Rides are starting to test The Shockwave Shop Some of the layout Wipeout Flat ride Shockwaves cool loop The parks Map, Please excuse the poor attemp on paint, I am rubbish at this stuff. Popcorn54
The parks opening day went well, Also good news is that Boomerang is getting some attention and is to be rebranded as wipeout. Storms Thrilling Riders Shockwaves layout My favorite part of the ride Buffalo chase is running good, The launch feels very forceful Riders goingto go down the first drop on shockwave Work continues on Boomerang to overhaul it. A ride should hopefully go here soon. Screamin Swing Riders enjoying the classic Mine Train Shockwave Sky tower was quite busy, Many wanted a new photo of storm. Boomerangs New Train from Vekoma, Hopefully be running soon. Comments and Criticism.
Popcorn54
I visited the park again this weekend to go on a backstage tour of storm and Wildcat. I didn't get many pictures of the storm tour unfortuanatley. The park map was on display at entrance The Ticket office was our meeting point. First I went to check out how Boomerang/Wipeouts progress was doing in it's refurb. The New trains are cool The loop is one of the best bits of the ride The SHockwave gift shop is so busy, many people want to buy on ride pictures and souvenirs On with the tour We were shown how the trasfer track area works and took inside the maintance building. The maintance building from the side of the ride.Note how the indor paint hasn't worn. Our tour guide The side of the ride, we walked around for photo ops We got to walk beside the track, Look at all the stuff stored there My view from the top of the ride A old log flume boat The ride from aftershock During ert The block brakes failed which resulted in 3 trains stoping, luckily it was only running 4, the other train on a block before then We were told this happens quite often and is one of the reasons the ride is leaving. A zoomed in shot of what went wrong, It is that brake that fails alot. We were informed the ride is short of spare parts due to the manufacturer not being around anymore. Thanks to the park for a great morning. Comments Please Next update may show water park construction. Please Comment

Thanks for the comment! _______________________ Some Big New for the park as we found out a their enthusiasts day. The park told us about hurricane Harbour that will be arriving at the park hopefully next summer, constructions been hard to notice however quite a lot has happened. We got a small tour of it, the park have only built one slide but supports for other sildes are underway. Also we were told nothing will be replacing Wild Cat. First of all though we got ert on Boomerang Buffalo Chase and Shockwave, 5 ert events in the one day was great, Thanks to the park for a great day of events. Boomerang Ert was great, i haven't seen it run this well in years The Loop One of the best parts of the ride The ride once stalled at that point. We rode shockwave Buffalo chase is good to! We taken over to the new water park area, it is behind power tower and the park have bought more land to extend on to the lake area. This water slide has already been built. A childrens section is being built. The frames for some of the slides are in place. The Structure for some of the slides and a building for the pumps to the slides. The filled up the pools just for us to see. Was good of them to let us get photos. A.J.
Okay, I have officially had enough. My psyche can't let this go un-noticed any longer. Please use proper spelling and grammar in your posts! Now, I know you've put a lot of time into showcasing your park to all of us. I also know you want us to comment on it. Let me make myself completely clear - if you continue to use improper spelling and grammar in your upcoming posts, I will LOCK this topic. You have a choice - either learn to use proper spelling and grammar, or let all your hard work go to waste. The choice is yours.
