undyl4n Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 What in the world is a god forsaken AquaTrax? I'm really not sure whether or not it's a big in joke that I just don't get (wouldn't be the first time on this site ) but I did some googling and all I can seem to gather is that it is a weirdly shaped rollercoaster... that... squirts water on it's track, and is themed to water? I mean, I guess it looks pretty nifty, but I really don't get how it's a "water" ride anymore than Sheikra or any other roller coaster with a splashdown is. Please help a dude in the dark, because if it is a joke of a ride idea I'd love to be in on it, and if it is a really cool ride idea, I'd love to get psyched on it. And if it is a ridiculous ride idea that actually is pretty cool, I'd love to get psyched about laughing about it.

undyl4n Posted January 6, 2011 Author Posted January 6, 2011 no, i mean i know what it is, and i've looked at the pics and videos that a few hours of google can do for me, but i can't really get the idea, or point of it. is it really just a coaster with no doors and scaled seating that has water squirting near the track? or is there something more to it that i'm not grasping?
larrygator Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 You are not grasping the use of capitalization. Installation of an Aquatrax just became a running joke on TPR around the time that Maverick was announced at Cedar Point. Some people jumped on the bandwagon of thinking that an Aquatrax would be the greatest coaster design/idea ever. Others decided to mock that opinion.
undyl4n Posted January 6, 2011 Author Posted January 6, 2011 God forbid... Anyways, ok, that is exactly the answer I was looking for. Thank you so much! I can see that Elissa seemed to really enjoy the ride... Can anyone who has ridden it give a review? Is it actually fun?
robbalvey Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 (edited) God forbid... I'm taking that is a rude and obnoxious remark towards Larry's request for the use of proper grammar? If you're not going to respect our moderators requests, or the site's TOS, please do not post to this forum. I'm not joking. --Robb Edited January 6, 2011 by robbalvey
