Hhappy Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 (edited) Yeah, i know it sounds a bit lame.. but Christmas just is not my time of the year. Maybe if i was dating someone or would have a kid.. it might be different.. but at the moment.. it's just one of those days.. I'll be happy when 2011 starts and all of this is behind me. Anyway, the last couple of weeks we've seen plenty of snow in the land of Dutch so i decided to check out the winter Efteling with real snow. Usually i don't care about this period at the Efteling, but yeah.. real snow and an excuse to stay away from the family.. what more do i need?? I walked around the park too many times today (my feet are killing me) and i hope you like the pictures. gisco Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 That is pretty cool seeing the park covered in snow. Looks a little different then when I was there last July. As always the pictures are fantastic!
tiger01 Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 I need to go check out Eftling. And maybe while over there go to Toverland to get two GCI Credits. Nice Pictures but I've seen too much snow in the last two weeks! Somedays it's fun...somedays it's just plain annoying!
Lenaapple1974 Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Definitely cool. No pun intended! Just how cold was it there? I have never seen anyone in a park in the snow like this! What on earth is that crown thing called? I still like the dragon..
larrygator Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 ^It is a Flying Island, called Pagoda at Efteling. It's a rotating observation tower. The only one in the US was at Cypress Gardens and is expected to remain at Legoland Florida.
Hhappy Posted December 27, 2010 Author Posted December 27, 2010 ^^ temperature was just around freezing (celsius) so it was pretty nice. Thanks for the comments so far.
Jeroen_twee Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 ^It is a Flying Island, called Pagoda at Efteling. It's called 'Pagode', it means temple. 'Pagoda' means grave
