Alien Encounter, WDW

Hi,

I've recently developed a love for this sadly, unoperational attraction at WDW, and I was hoping that seeing as I'll never ride it, some of you could help me out on the story, what it's like riding it, what happens, capacity, on-ride vids... anything!

I was lucky enough to ride it on two visits. Although I enjoy my share of scares I didn’t think too much of the ride itself. Most of it is in the dark and are sound effects, and heavy “alien” breathing down your neck.

 

As far as I have been informed the replacement with Stitch isn’t that different. Just less scary for the kids… Still in the dark a lot, with sound effects, Breathing and slime….

 

The coolest part of the ride are the seats that closed with overhead restrains. No way to escape (or comfort a scared kid)

You are right Stitch is almost identical to it apart from stitch looks good compared to the rubber alien they had in it before.

Alien Encounter was a good attraction though the first time i did it i wasn't expecting it to be so intense when it went dark, i gave it a thumbs up 8 years ago.
