tdub96 Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 The coaster looks ok, but GCI's always always always have twisted drops, never straight like you have here
CoasterCreator9 Posted December 21, 2010 Author Posted December 21, 2010 I don't know, this looks pretty streight to me. (The turn is at the bottom of the hill.) Also, if I remember correctly Gwazi has a straight 1st, (well, technically second, it goes: lift-drop-flat turn-drop) drop as well.
tdub96 Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 El Toro was the one exception and I remember seeing it on a GCI press release that the coaster was designed to appease the "straight-drop fantatics," but with that curve at the bottom of the drop, the drop hasnt finished yet, so technically it is a twisting drop. I'm jusst saying what you have there is not very GCI-like. I would make a twisting drop, then continue the layout through the woods like Prowler at WOF.
CoasterCreator9 Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 After several weeks, Le Phantome's retracking has been completed! After being closed down late december, Le Phantome has just re opened, the pictures shown are during the testing phase: Sorry it's taken so long. I've been very busy and I'm also working on revamping an old park I did once upon a time.
Ace Of Spades Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Um...sorry to say it, but I liked the old Phantom a lot better, it looked a lot more "complete", if you will.
tdub96 Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Looks much better. Good job incorperating the twisting drop on the woody there, looks like a GCI now! Nice job
