Road to Cedar Point 2011

I've emailed you guys my questions already but my mom wants me to post on here as well. Is there anyway, beyond email, that we can contact y'all? I would really like to join you on the Road to Cedar Point trip but my mom is skeptical... She wants to talk to a live human before deciding to pay a penny towards the trip, but I want to start paying now to secure my spot! If you could contact me ASAP it would be greatly appreciated. I want this to be my senior trip and the Road to Cedar Point includes alot of theme parks I really want to go to.

Perhaps you can show her some video's and trip report from current and previous trips and show her that these trips are the real deal.

 

I guess everybody was in this position at one time, and I don't think Robb and Elissa ever dissappoint anybody who signed up for the trips.

Unfortunately, it is a really bad time to contact Robb and Elissa as they are 5 days into a 3 week trip. They do have e-mail access but they are EXTREMELY busy focusing on making the current trips a success.

 

Knowing Elissa, I know she would be able to speak with your mom on the phone after she returns to California, sooner might be tough.

 

The initial deposit is fully refundable for a couple of months, I strongly suggest you get the deposit in ASAP and if your mom is not happy after speaking with Elissa, the money can be refunded. This trip is selling out fast, if you wait to talk to Elissa the trip you might get shut out.

Thanks guys. I know they're currently on a trip right now. As things are looking I may not have the money to make the Cedar Point trip... Gotta keep trying!

^I would really try to get that deposit in if you even think you might be able to go. There is a lot of interest in these trips, and if you wanna secure a spot you should do it now. As Larry said, the deposits are refundable through March 18, and how often are you going to get an opportunity to go on a trip where the trip planners are right there with you.

If it's any consolation to your Mom, I'll be taking my son (who will be 13 at the time) on the NE trip. There have been PLENTY of families that have gone on these trips. You can also play the "I'm 18 now" card.

LOL, that "I'm 18 now" line didn't work so great for me many years ago. It got me my own car payment, insurance, food bill and share of the electricity/water. So just be cautious with that line, it was my first act of boldness and it bit me in the rear.

I guess considering I moved out at 16 that didn't really apply to me. But yeah, I can see how that could come back to bite you.
