derek_lentz Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 I am thinking of planning a visit to Dollywood or Six Flags over Georgia. Right now, I only have enough time and money to visit one or the other. I live about an equal distance from both. If you could only choose one to visit, which one would it be?
SharkTums Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 ^Are you more into credits or park experience. This is a simple question with a simple answer. Credits - SFoG Overall Park Experience - Dollywood
Brad Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 If I had to choose between the two, I would say SFOG, mainly because they have the better selection of coasters. Dollywood does offer a GREAT park experience, with a few good rides thrown in. As SharkTums mentioned, Dollywood has a more 'rounded' offering, with more shows, craft demonstrations, scenery, etc. SFOG has Mind Bender, Goliath, Scorcher and Acrophobia (plus 7 more credits) and is IMO a beautiful park. It all comes down to what you're looking for in a park.
derek_lentz Posted July 22, 2010 Author Posted July 22, 2010 Thanks for the advice. For this trip, since it is just me I will probably go to SFOG and in the future I will take the family to Dollywood.
disneymoc Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 If it is just you, you are probably making the right decision. Dollywood is something every member of the family can enjoy. Six Flags can be too, but I would call Dollywood more family friendly.
