Photo TR: Busch Garden's Adventure Camp!

Recommended Posts

I'm finally back from a week long camp called 'Adventure camp' that is ran by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. Its basically a camp for animal lovers, but they have different camps for you to choose from: Resident Camp, Day Camp, Sleepovers and Group Camps. I went with the resident camp which has more choices, I chose Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Under this is another list of choices to choose. As a roller coaster enthusiast, I went with Xtreme Careers which is for grades 10 through 12. This camp is meant for people who love roller coasters, but doesn't mind seeing some animals as well.

IMG_3877.JPG.3913611d02c7d54ec8e97fb2643acf0e.JPG

You Might see these plastered all over the park.

I would like to first say that the camp was awesome and I will be going back next year, I met some new people, did some things I've never done before and went to some places I've never seen or been before. The camp doesn't have Exclusive Ride Time (ERT), but it does have a sort of Walk On Ride Though Exit (WORTE) and Ride Before Guests Come (RBGC) and Behind The Scenes (BTS). We did so many things during our camp, I can't really tell you it all here, so I will tell the story with the picture it goes with.

By the way, all pictures were taken using my new camera; Canon Rebel XSi; I'm soon going to replace it with the Canon T1i which is the same camera, but can record video. I will tell you that I did take over 1700 photos this whole week and will try my best to put up as little as I can, and still be able to post as many as I can.

Most of the major coasters (Sheikra, Kumba, and Montu) were shut down during the rain.

IMG_2613.JPG.79804c64e57a12a69d5014b8ed9d40f2.JPG

Some girls I was with went crazy over this fudge shop.

The original.

So did these.

IMG_2617.JPG.8d2ac2c297146bac148a7bddaeb676ed.JPG

This reminded me of Dubai.

Gwazi!

IMG_2625.JPG.a6997b37d7121f92726e4dfa8ba78626.JPG

We did walk into what I think is the best store in the whole park; Xcursions.

IMG_2626.JPG.e5d7241dc38856aabca1cb3a035abc0a.JPG

Big kitty!

IMG_2627.JPG.d689c2a8c1849e909e183a388eb3e627.JPG

These carvings looked pretty cool.

IMG_2632.JPG.e41309123a6fb4b2c27e54471f96c7ba.JPG

They even had crickets in glass boxes.

IMG_2634.JPG.ef3967f1788e5873db8af7201fa65392.JPG

Don't pass this store, stop in because you might find something interesting.

IMG_2637.thumb.JPG.42ff180caadbfc1ce297dfcb54a805d5.JPG

We soon started our way to...

They even let one out to feed.

We'll be back with part two.

Can you guys tell me, does this Photo TR have too many photos already? If so, I'll reduce. All what's left in Part two are photos of closer animal encounters, Sheikra, and slightly blurry 4th of July fireworks.

Part Two:

IMG_2700.JPG.c13f16d43354a4457fabbde50436c53c.JPG

They had these all over the park. There is usually a DJ hosting a Hula Hoop Olympics of some sort while playing good music.

IMG_2703.JPG.75af3a7ff1247d4a0b8dff9cf9e0cf23.JPG

We then walked to a classroom-type place to see mroe animals, this time it was even more up-close. (We never touched this scorpion!)

IMG_2708.JPG.3a9f7ae09ce0b3d85a7055f79468e19d.JPG

They showed us all sorts of animals, here is a sloth.

IMG_2710.JPG.6567573cbe69642b254025755fa4719c.JPG

Next they brought in a big...heavy...

IMG_2720.JPG.bd12cea8949822bdf50f26e2eda9faad.JPG

Walking to our next destination, I got one picture showing how twisted Gwazi is.

IMG_2723.JPG.9e6d565802a25411833891e5b3b60ce0.JPG

Where are we now?

IMG_2724.JPG.5f5ee63fdbef304d6ee6a97885518e27.JPG

Oh, here we are. Unfortunately, all of my pictures are bad because of how dark it was in there, so I will be skipping these photos.

IMG_2739.JPG.07d3e6d7e203784236dbb412291eb9cc.JPG

Here are showtimes, see it before it goes away.

IMG_2740.JPG.0283827904211bea7e7b7a4b9a638dbd.JPG

These guys are still good!

IMG_2745.JPG.ac1f8406fc54b183848ef4d2bfe9ccff.JPG

Christopher Cool here was doing his last show that day before he went back to Canada. Apparently, he can do magic and kept getting called by passing people "The Shamwow guy", but he's not him.

IMG_2747.JPG.31d2aa8a2b1d5c145d96daa1cd7e97e8.JPG

His front shirt says it all!

IMG_2748.JPG.233fbc22f410588e5ffa2a6ef54b6432.JPG

Back in the Xcursions shop, I took pictures of its fish tank.

IMG_2757.JPG.796865e5a02de228f6de539ca10c3bcc.JPG

Looking back outside, I noticed Christopher Cool had gathered quite a crowd.

IMG_2759.JPG.77b716910d72aa069c89cfaa17379f19.JPG

After this, we gathered together to head over to a pet show.

Yep, that's what I'm talkin' about.

Going to ride Sheikra.

July 5

Day 3: Roller Coaster Encounters

Today involved behind the scenes of two major roller coasters, Adventure Island, photo shoots, and the Kinetix Show. I think this update will be of more interest to everybody.

It started pouring!

We stood out in the rain for at least 10 minutes until the counselors led us under a roof.

Enjoy this picture, because its the only shot I have of the great show. We went out in the rain to watch the whole show.

After the show, some of the campers got to come back in the Serengeti Safari truck!

Mine was the Busch Gardens Xtreme Carrers Resident Camp. Cost was $1,200.00 and was worth it!

Edit: Why have I not posted an update in a while, I dont know... oh well.

Day 4: Aquatica & Seaworld

Last night we packed our things, and now today we are hitting the road for a 1 hour drive to Busch Garden's sister parks, Aquatica and Seaworld!

IMG_3098.JPG.09bf65f684ec5c9d3e758701ac0052ce.JPG

Packed up and ready to go!

After a 1 hour drive and passing Disney World, we finally make it to Seaworld.

IMG_3109.JPG.6be1b77e42375dd255118d0353c4ff4a.JPG

Before we head to Seaworld, we went to Aquatica first.

IMG_3110.JPG.e0a8c83d376bb8231b2e4e80797bca91.JPG

The park lacks vertical drop slides, but what it has is fine for me.

IMG_3113.JPG.557fe355bb391a48b6c2185344bd3800.JPG

Instead of taking this beautiful hedge entrance...

IMG_3114.JPG.1f848be602dd0da9a21c3c69c8ca335c.JPG

We instead kept walking and made it to the VIP entrance!

IMG_3117.JPG.110a3af4248ddb1cb218720dabc31e01.JPG

...where you get a pretty good view of this slide structure.

How nice that they have these!

SANY0038.JPG.18d54d57c8fd01e584b3f4f22f69e62f.JPG

The Proslide Tantrum, Omaka Rocka, was an awesome slide; much better than I had predicted. Videos of it make it seem bring but it is more intense than it looks.

SANY0043.JPG.f37f4c1d3ea24f459e50e9450bec1e33.JPG

After A while of riding very steep mat slides and intense inner tube slides, I dared to wait in line to ride the Dolphin's Plunge. I'm pretty patient so I was able to last an hour waiting. Unfortunately, the slide wasn't worth the wait. :-/

SANY0047.JPG.f8e2f3bb5096b355aa9e0815f139699c.JPG

You Do get a nice view of the whole waterpark from mid-way to the top of the slide.

Taumata Racer had the steepest and tallest drop on a mat racer I have ever been on. I didn't get to ride Walhalla Wave & HooRoo Run (both raft slides).

SANY0053.JPG.6afb726b41098f03a6319e60a1664cd1.JPG

I also never got on Tassie's Twisters because it had an incredibly long line as well.

IMG_3134.JPG.137a8750e81d9dafcf4b4a95fd5efacc.JPG

After a day of riding water slides, we went to the gift shop before leaving.

Still a long line, and I too hate that you have to grab the inner tube from the Lazy River.

IMG_3137.JPG.60324e348323ce74e974f33989590d07.JPG

We got changed and then started leaving.

A quick hop, skip, and jump and then we headed over to Seaworld!

IMG_3182.JPG.6c4d26f7ffcd97568d5aaf31f69a7eff.JPG

Manta looks awesome!

IMG_3185.JPG.7ebd9ac34b7ab477504b56664e238dbf.JPG

And it has a comfortably steep lift.

IMG_3187.JPG.7d648d46dc804652ec4c2695f5ebc1dc.JPG

Before riding Manta, we pet stingrays!

IMG_3188.JPG.db750028f3c458b222379de0911c3fbd.JPG

It was a nice area where you just walked up and pet them when they came by you.

IMG_3189.JPG.39e30b6ac278a719d0b7b01308928b63.JPG

They have a sort of slimy feeling.

IMG_3195.JPG.034ff2a5d5b59b3c59a4fcd21a96df0f.JPG

Right after that, we saw the aquarium in Manta before riding Manta.

IMG_3196.JPG.b25dc683506544d6b1fa320d30f785a0.JPG

The area around Manta was heavily themed with a heavy amount of mist.

IMG_3211.JPG.8112374f2fc568e399be1190c6e3b135.JPG

Afterwards, we all (but 1) rode Manta and loved it! I sat on the right side and got my right knee cap wet!

IMG_3217.JPG.d23eec1855416284ea1c01740b5f5c00.JPG

It was actually more intense in the dive loop than Tatsu, but I can't decide which coaster is better.

IMG_3220.JPG.922af9e9264aa965463b8377ce88d370.JPG

This would be better if it had a train.

IMG_3237.JPG.5b2ec48e9682749a466c5fb2a8a96037.JPG

After that we trailed over to Kraken.

IMG_3238.JPG.dc39ea69e226e28f9a9e2dc6d6eab918.JPG

...to find out that it had a 1 hour, 30 minute wait.

IMG_3227.JPG.6c54bf03baf2343e4c29b10f26344484.JPG

So we rode Journey to Atlantis.

IMG_3241.JPG.836e5298a482ef15fc5fbc87a5f9ed79.JPG

This ride makes a skloosh!

IMG_3245.JPG.67e15dc36149b49c08588f963162b59f.JPG

Did anyone know the gift shop of Journey to Atlantis had an a aquarium you can walk on?!

IMG_3251.JPG.56a9620ab004029930b36c73031759bf.JPG

We then saw penguins, but it was too dark in some places so I didn't take any photos.

We soon saw another pet show!

IMG_3267.JPG.edc18699995ebeaab04d7f2f3fcd2c46.JPG

It was a very nice show!

IMG_3276.JPG.c14e29e7bbc06ffe45e04e1289e1d53b.JPG

For lunch we ate at the Voyagers restaurant.

IMG_3281.JPG.7e86e5cfc45f38b0492abdf24412ec32.JPG

So were the ribs!

IMG_3287.thumb.JPG.3b528adf4c2697f0f4186f2bf90ebd88.JPG

This creeped me out!

IMG_3291.JPG.381690b9d5421e483de63c6ba5f8633e.JPG

Next up was a show that was also epic.

IMG_3302.JPG.3f8182c578f0960f2ea403d02717fa14.JPG

Seriously, it had Chinese acrobats and high flying drapes people.

IMG_3306.JPG.8080222e7f47cb52b968fbb62253d73d.JPG

Soon, we did come back to ride the Kraken where we sang the Pokemon Theme song going up the lift!

IMG_3313.JPG.50649b03133d12dd3db07492bcdc0175.JPG

After Kraken, we saw Sea Lions Tonight!

IMG_3314.JPG.98bb5a870da7b1bc568dce2b5ed009b5.JPG

The theater and the sunset made for a beautiful view of Kraken.

Next we walked our way to Shamu Stadium to see Shamu Rocks.

IMG_3378.JPG.950a96532c46fb7c39a0eb6d2787a292.JPG

Here was where we got a complimentary Shamu ice cream bar.

IMG_3380.JPG.fc15194ead40a766ba619b2527bc3476.JPG

And cameras pointed in the crowds.

IMG_3381.JPG.e064eaacd9bdb7bed1e5de1860745f0a.JPG

One guy had the camera pointe dat him and then he put on a hat and yelled "SHAMU ROCKS"! Everyone applauded!

IMG_3388.JPG.7dc1f058c3f4314f202d97f8405c592b.JPG

After a small delay, the show started.

Yay, a Shamu!

IMG_3425.JPG.f164e81b861891bf3d52cec53c0c364a.JPG

Though it was sad to know that the trainers wouldn't get in the water with the three Shamus, it was still a great show with lots of lights and water!

IMG_3434.JPG.0c74293b1d5849324a2c280714e135fb.JPG

This guy rocked out! I have more photos of the show, but that's too revealing.

This looked like an awesome place to have a party, but there was nobody here partying.

IMG_3467.JPG.5b6698ce075fabda4e28995d8b959ba6.JPG

Soon we sat down outside of the Bayside Stadium to watch the fireworks in the Reflections show, boo!

IMG_3484.JPG.3b81b429ca483dbacd3466f9bb6aa479.JPG

But soon we proved that we can have just as much fun outside of the stadium than being inside the stadium watching everything else happening.

IMG_3518.JPG.165df7e842ac5e3415c733c75c89b46b.JPG

Boom, Boom, Pow! Snap, Crackle, Pop!

IMG_3529.JPG.04197f8492d56f68f4de0ff1de7389eb.JPG

After the show, we got our sleeping bags and other stuff and got to do something exclusive.

We Spent the night in Wild Artic! (If you join this camp, remember to bring a long sleeved shirt or else you might wake up shivering.)

IMG_3536.JPG.f5ff0ffaf3abb5c5314724eb088052ca.JPG

The girls got to sleep next to the Beluga Whales and we were next to the Polar Bear Exhibit. Unfortunately, the polar bears weren't swimming.

After watching Belugas Mating, it was time for everyone to head to sleep. Next update will be Discovery Cove.

Day 5: Discovery Cove and Movie Night

Waking up pretty cold in the morning, we put our things together and went over to Discovery Cove. I didn't take too many pictures of Discovery cove so expect not too many pictures from this update.

Where we slept! Here's something weird, I've never been in Wild Arctic before so I've never been in the motion simulator it has.

IMG_3605.JPG.43eeb6ee30d14d09d7aaf57385ef85fd.JPG

After a small van ride across the street, we make it to the deep Forested area of Discovery Cove.

IMG_3607.JPG.40a94aabee5885d6f22b0b995c962637.JPG

This place reminds me of Hawaii, but its not humid enough.

IMG_3609.JPG.0457f9f86cf6dbcdeca77658bd534125.JPG

All of the buildings were made the same way.

IMG_3621.JPG.889ab9c73e92fc1d5644c459e9ca8eb0.JPG

Signage here wasn't bad, at least they had a map nearby.

IMG_3622.JPG.795ab466e8dbff630d66734cec58c171.JPG

When you go to get your vest or wet suit, you also get a bag that holds snorkel gear and special sunscreen that's safe for when you swim with animals.

IMG_3623.JPG.38c10f9f05a6be10412f8639a5298831.JPG

The whole place was very nice.

IMG_3625.JPG.96b15da41291a6d831c10a52e78a937c.JPG

Like I said earlier, I don't have many pictures so I'll tell you what we did today. First we got to go behind the scenes to where they prepare the fish they feed to the dolphins, and we got to see where they keep the dolphins when people do not interact with them. Next we went to a tent area for a sort of orientation and video, then everyone split up based on what letter was printed on your ID. I will tell you now, the area where the dolphins swim was freezing, but you better get used to it if you want to have the dolphins swim you back to the shallow end of the water. You are initially standing in 3ft of water, but if they call you to swim out then the water will get very deep and you have to keep yourself afloat for the dolphin to pull you back to the shallow end. The dolphin does come to your group in the shallow end and you get to pet it's back, fin and belly. Next you got to take a photo with the dolphin. I know, I know, I am not a super model:

356179248_IMG_SwimmingwithDolphin.jpg.53054c2a8409a84c710126b9f23c8176.jpg

After swimming with the dolphins, you get to explore the place. There is a Bird Sanctuary, a lazy river, a Stingray pond (I call it a pond because it's shallow water), and a reef dive. My favorite thing to do was the lazy river because there were no inner tubes, you can use your snorkel gear, and the floor can go from 3ft to 8ft of water (there are noodles and life vests for people who can't swim). I also like the stingray pond because you stand in the water and wait for stingray to swim past you for you to pet them. There are moments when they let the people feed them shrimp.

Now continuing the pictures after we came back, showered up, and emptied our lockers (the only thing you get to keep is th bag and the mouth piece of the snorkel gear).

You can buy your own wet suits here.

The gift shop.

Everyone made friends with this guy. The group makes up 16 people (me being number 8), everyone liked to call him number 17!

IMG_3631.JPG.4d35ba3c1c5d6f5d33e5ea583ac87fe8.JPG

The cool map!

IMG_3633.JPG.1da97843646143e6319618fdf9baf17b.JPG

The best picture I have of the lazy river.

IMG_3635.JPG.4b4dff2f66e74b6179ee3adf182d3547.JPG

I don't know why I'm including this, but I have never seen an automatic water fountain before.

IMG_3637.JPG.bd37dd694b2b57497ca99a27e4984e70.JPG

Soon we jumped back in the van and made the 1 hour trek back to Busch Gardens.

IMG_3639.JPG.55ba7946fdf7ffad442f895f75c4a6f7.JPG

View from outside the building.

IMG_3641.JPG.5b8cbc8d4a3adb0b3733f0f9e99e04bb.JPG

We called our parents and watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

IMG_3647.JPG.d4b09a3a25f91909424aa3bb925a8b08.JPG

...then we went back in Busch Gardens to watch a different movie.

IMG_3650.JPG.d0b6663d82a23380470f20e39ae9bee4.JPG

The best part was that we used the 4d Theater to watch a non 4d movie.

IMG_3651.JPG.2bdc1a7e3334876c498de72551d65325.JPG

Another best part was that it was closed to the public.

IMG_3653.JPG.ad9862f4f4d302d97d558e2e3dc458cb.JPG

Another great par was that we got to sit anywhere in the theater.

IMG_3661.JPG.ad53c7daf33cee968cb05e32ee9cf270.JPG

The not so good part was that the movie took over only half of the screen, but I didn't mind because we were watching The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

IMG_3660.JPG.108d68ead8da594d18bbc90ff48fa831.JPG

I now leave you with this picture because after the movie, we went back tot he dorm and went to bed.

Next update will be behind the scenes of two special rides, more roller coaster riding, and closing ceremony.

July 8

Day 6: More Roller Coaster Encounters

Today involved two more interesting behind-the-scenes looks, Congo River Rapids and Sheikra. Then we got to ride more roller coasters.

IMG_3664.JPG.aed8eca07ed7d8183c902c8b7128cfcc.JPG

We arrive 1 hour before the park opened to the public.

IMG_3665.JPG.4141c50bdd2c2371f4aa342062224a74.JPG

IMG_3666.JPG.39bb5cc85fadc7bcadb3e9eeba1fce74.JPG

Kumba in the distance.

IMG_3667.JPG.750a49d13df5736423fb1a8b89f7325d.JPG

Got a quick look at the Wild Surge.

IMG_3668.JPG.48001739c775d957f6b0dc0979aacee1.JPG

And the Jungala entrance.

IMG_3669.JPG.5524820a65e72002aa152e035c9db919.JPG

We get exclusive, behind the scenes of Congo River Rapids.

IMG_3670.JPG.5a36a8df1fafbd844b43eea8d4556fdb.JPG

Kumba is dead for now.

IMG_3671.JPG.aca998f71cb113aaaf2b1c54d4e9c8b8.JPG

They didn't turn on the water yet.

IMG_3672.JPG.76dae7afea2010b1269832644fa7925f.JPG

Walking through the exit.

IMG_3673.JPG.fb6a5bbbbbf5638d9a1be32df34bcd67.JPG

Dry.

IMG_3675.JPG.64108e9ae792e2d61785df6ae90ae956.JPG

This keeps the ride from starting.

IMG_3676.JPG.4c268ba0b1f1e594535d93a25c3a7202.JPG

This is where it goes.

IMG_3678.JPG.af704ed28d183fdb36238c3ee61ad3ae.JPG

Since they gave half the group one, they got to link theirs after mine.

IMG_3677.JPG.0a2a20d575745bb763c8b97ff041ab2b.JPG

It says "Man Over Board!" I hope this never goes off.

IMG_3679.JPG.58ecffc48537d9f8e3de3b9d72aca402.JPG

IMG_3680.JPG.2d681e2314b00a480b7ee33c4ceb8a2e.JPG

They gave the rest locks to put on another E-Stop button, then they showed us how to evacuate a raft on the lift.

IMG_3681.thumb.JPG.3102abec983329dee636282996b15137.JPG

All of the boats were either on the conveyor lift, or placed in a holding area.

IMG_3685.JPG.3ee7bf0d3fcd79918257d09b0bc09348.JPG

We then got to walk the ride.

Our guides.

We walked halfway down the ride, then stopped to ask questions.

IMG_3696.JPG.3fbef437da4035075fe68f55794dd27e.JPG

After the questions, we walked back the way we came.

This video is us walking back the way we came in the Congo River Rapids.

They'll say "Let there be water", after comes a completely big WHOOSH... then there's water, and they saw it was good!

IMG_3702.JPG.abe8aa0b7b5357092a5fbf8a38fc5e2a.JPG

And this is where it flowed from.

IMG_3704.JPG.1821653bf125149ce16451510cbb8721.JPG

Still Dead.

IMG_3706.JPG.4959bc6598a900c37af6c27440adca5b.JPG

We went back to take the locks off, then we exited the ride. I wish we saw the ride starting.

IMG_3709.thumb.JPG.20dc4a7e2a7813f5f3feab84029f3184.JPG

We made our way to Sheikra for a behind the scenes look.

IMG_3712.thumb.JPG.6b64e10cd03c65dcea53477094304e2b.JPG

They were testing the ride when we arrived.

IMG_3720.JPG.9b1be0ae5dbf70376ef6c68a915946cc.JPG

Next, they led us to where they store the trains.

IMG_3721.JPG.c8b79ce782abb77a92927cb8d007efdd.JPG

There was only one train in here.

Does Griffon have a circle splash box.

IMG_3728.JPG.eca830ff3d32ff066d91e95a654429e5.JPG

Next, they led us to the ride control panel to show us how they operate it.

IMG_3731.JPG.1c6210283bf75dd21eb8a083dd1a374e.JPG

IMG_3732.JPG.15dc475a9313ae00f50939706e7c7bde.JPG

Did, I mention that we did everything this morning 1 hour before the park opened?

IMG_3733.JPG.518ce245190e6b2fd0f899ec56caf0d1.JPG

IMG_3734.JPG.34437c4a4deac1b72e9c8ef656961402.JPG

IMG_3735.JPG.d4e2a8516c00fef8dc018d3a010945f0.JPG

The best part was after they had tested the ride, they let us ride two times in a row without getting off!

IMG_3737.JPG.95c61e32c3ef3084214b1ce384d4da0c.JPG

Comparing this ride to Kumba, I think Kumba is better because it's more intense.

IMG_3742.thumb.JPG.7e72cff9abdfab3fff6312cfab5b62a1.JPG

After getting off, we noticed that the park opened 30 minutes ago and very little people found their way to Sheikra.

IMG_3738.JPG.73769d74b08dcc696e76e25dcdd9987d.JPG

Only a kid and his dad got on this first thing in the morning.

IMG_3740.JPG.7564efec400b0042bdb42fd10799aa89.JPG

I thought this was cool.

IMG_3748.JPG.ff4d0b224d2543c0b2171e094dc5c6a1.JPG

We soon walked all the way to the other side of the park to get multiple rides on Montu. After my second ride, I chose not to ride the 3rd because I was disoriented!

IMG_3751.JPG.6de096e7fe9a8eced4e5db610c311b85.JPG

So me and some others walked around the area a little.

IMG_3753.JPG.e1579a3366d84a9e90510747708b6100.JPG

Who?

IMG_3754.thumb.JPG.ddafe7927ebced5b65e43c18e71bac27.JPG

Big Momma gon' do some cookin'!

IMG_3756.JPG.25de0e2b84cdce1e9da7627837e4e0ba.JPG

I like how this was a self tour, and it's something to do when you aren't riding Montu.

IMG_3757.JPG.a17943515c43600119a60aa3553065e7.JPG

Didn't take too many pictures inside...

IMG_3758.JPG.3ad6055026a183a65bddd09beb2abc0d.JPG

Except this one.

IMG_3768.JPG.e1eee1a22609a8fe389335baff2b50e6.JPG

Soon, we were given permission to ride as many rides as possible under 3 hours between Scorpion and Sheikra!

IMG_3769.JPG.eb081d50360643187c1ecd73c8ff9083.JPG

Our big Group split up into groups of four, my group went to Cheetah Chase first.

IMG_3771.JPG.db7a8afaf0c565c3a219b24262c7e151.JPG

Then the almost painful Phoenix.

IMG_3774.JPG.047f709c067aaad01757a3b373d6eb49.JPG

Then Scorpion.

IMG_3796.JPG.ee6e85f4816c3d7d6528c2ac3f38610e.JPG

Then we went back to Jungala and rode Wild Surge. It's kind of like Twilight Zone, except it's not.

IMG_3799.JPG.efb933ccd5d78f0eb1079dad11f92879.JPG

IMG_3801.thumb.JPG.4c7a0792ce6c9f91fb984b83e55b73aa.JPG

I think its a pretty fun ride.

IMG_3802.JPG.e6c32314ebdded5aa6559d5f9521aa14.JPG

We tried to ride Kumba, but the line was too long, so half of us rode Congo Rapids; I didn't.

IMG_3803.JPG.4b19e484591ca8963d2c31a11374c7b1.JPG

I can't believe I was walking here earlier.

IMG_3808.JPG.8d3eedc88a97e437f456089287f6a80d.JPG

Kumba screaming by.

IMG_3811.JPG.584815a74adbcb6a7d7a2a672d97b7df.JPG

I pay to make people wet.

IMG_3813.thumb.JPG.e872f20677f1c43df9be502e2402f5a8.JPG

This was pointless, especially at .00.

IMG_3819.JPG.01860cf9e932c5a41133d6dbbd7a2fe6.JPG

Next, we rode Sandstorm.

IMG_3820.JPG.543447281e5f9e9c652549d886258b40.JPG

Then Cheetah Chase again.

IMG_3823.JPG.b779696cc2ab2283dc83185eaf4f3155.JPG

Then the whole group met up around the Cheetah.

IMG_3824.JPG.492e23039c8e1f68d7bcb9a36fb38185.JPG

Performing in front of Jungala while we were leaving.

IMG_3828.JPG.ba9cf7dfa47e8480d312936cbd257c34.JPG

Went back to the dorm to play some games before we went back.

IMG_3829.JPG.9460bd6d69f0ced12a428e652ab0d964.JPG

After games, we ate ribs.

IMG_3831.JPG.db398122f42ca70f831d4d67f78eb66c.JPG

Inside, you can hear the trains rolling by.

IMG_3834.thumb.JPG.185278888a58ad4add62ae8782bc1412.JPG

I approve of the ribs.

And a party!

That's all of Camp, but I went back to Busch Gardens the next day to take some extra photographs that aren't too special but might put in this TR anyways.

So what was my coaster count for this whole camp?

Sheikra---4

Kumba---2

Montu---3

Gwazi---2 (one for each side)

Cheetah Chase---2

Scorpion---1

Manta---1

Kraken---1

Journey to Atlatis---1

Totaling to: 17 rides on 9 coasters (Including JTA)

^^We did every ride except the air grover place. It was %100 worth the price. There was one person who wasn't into the big coasters and always said no to riding the big rides, except Journey to Atlantis and cheetah chase.
