Jack Rimer Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Just thought I would share something that we are proud of. We teamed up with the Lego Architecture team and showed a prototype Lego Roller Coaster at Brickworld 2010 in Chicago last weekend. The response was overwhelmingly positive and we hope that this is not the last time we get to work with the Lego Architecture team!
KCForce Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Hmmmn, I was just saying 'wouldn't it be cool if Lego came out with a roller coaster", and low and behold. CD combined with Lego would make for some sought after holiday gifts for boys and girls of all ages... The new Side Winder kit (a shuttle loop model) has seats for Lego mini figures. I really like this. It will be cool to see what they come up with in the future with the Lego folks!
davisal771 Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 ^ You must mean an Arrow shuttle looper?t I would so buy it.
mcjaco Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Jack, you and I must have been within 100 or so yards of each other. I was at the Claim Jumper for dinner on Saturday night!
Jack Rimer Posted June 28, 2010 Author Posted June 28, 2010 So were we! We went late Saturday night....maybe 10 or so. Their calamari is the best. Milkshakes rocked too. Did you know the Lego convention was at the Westin?
mcjaco Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 ^ I had no idea. We were there to take my Father In Law to dinner for Father's Day. I tried to get my wife to let us wander in, but was shot down. I still have all my Legos seperated by color in plastic tubs. Can't wait for the day to get them out of storage!
deathbydinn Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Is the coaster still there or was it just for the weekend?
