Billy Posted June 16, 2010 Share Posted June 16, 2010 Hey, Does anybody know what the best way to get from Disney(Grand Floridian) to Universal (IOA) is? I do not have a car and have not rented one. I heard the bus can take up to two hours with some transfers. Is this true? Is a cab ride worth it? Any help or some experience info would be great! Thanks! dj snow Posted June 16, 2010 Share Posted June 16, 2010 One option would be to rent a car from Disney's on-site car rental center. I believe it's an Alamo/National location. They have a shuttle van that will come pick you up at your resort hotel and bring you to the rental center, where you can pick up your car. Best bet would be to reserve your car ahead of time, and then call the rental center at least a day in advance to schedule your van pick up. Otherwise, I'd look at taking a cab. I would rent a car, it's a far distance, you can get that early in the morning, and after it all you can stop by any stores to pick up supplies you might need.
