Wild Wild West is an exhilarating 40-minute journey back into the golden days of the west, featuring cowboys, dancers, magic, card tricks, and high noon shootouts. The star of the show is Patrick Gruss - a cowboy who is coming all the way from Disneyland Paris to bring his act to South Africa for the very first time. He is descended from the famous French Bouglione and Gruss circus families and a showman who can rival Buffalo Bill himself. Patrick's skills have been on display in music halls in Europe and casinos in Las Vegas. He was a winner of the 1999 world championship in gun spinning (Wild West Arts club) in Las Vegas. If he challenges you to a high noon shootout, you'd better refuse. Join him at Gold Reef City Theme Park's Hippodrome as he plays Thunder Brown, a bad boy cowboy. He'll dazzle audiences with his amazing pistol-spinning and trick-roping abilities. Other members of the cast include Gareth Lush as Crazy, a magician and ventriloquist with sharp card tricks and a talking puppet sidekick called Tonto. Henry Jones is the Geezer, a guitar pickin' old codger with an ear for the best old tunes. They're supported by three cowboys, who are all professional stuntmen, as well as six cowboy and cowgirl dancers. Catch this rootin', tootin' barrel of fun at 12:00pm and 2:30pm daily from 27 March to 11 April 2010. It's a bit longer from Sydney to JBurg, 14-17 hours, depending on if you stop in Perth. It's a couple of hours quicker on the way back because there's a tailwind. Virgin takes a lot longer because they use smaller planes and have to use a different route.
