jedimaster1227 Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 http://en.trend.az/news/incident/1658897.html An accident at the Shahinshahr Water Park in the Iranian city of Isfahan injured 25 people last night. The cause of the accident was a technical failure in a water slide, the Iranian news channel IRINN reported. As a result of the incident, two people received serious head injuries. Six were discharged after outpatient examination and 17 remain in hospital care with various fractures. Seven of the wounded people are foreign citizens. Four are Syrian. The nationality of the other individuals has not yet been identified. It sounds like this may have been a similar accident to the one that happened at Waterworld in California where too many people were riding the slide at once and it gave way. Hopefully we'll get some more details soon.
VegasCoaster Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Yeah that or something weird happened in a wave pool. Its hard to think of too many things that can happen to that many people in a waterpark.
nln00b Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 What do they mean by a "technical failure"? Anyway, thats too bad. I always hate to see accidents where your supposed to have fun. Note: 100th post! WOOOOOOO!
