CoasterGeek101 Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 I just uploaded a 1080p hd video and it had jibberish above it. What gives?
StealthFan Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 We are going to need more information about what you are having trouble with. Is it forum uploads? CoasterTube uploads? Also what is the gibberish you speak off? What does it say? -Craig
CoasterGeek101 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Posted February 27, 2010 It is coastertube. Right after i uploaded it it said jibebrish at t he top. When jimmybo uploaded some videos the jibberish at the top under new videos. The jibberish speaks of my title, some numbers, and then my videos title followed my jpeg.
CoasterGeek101 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Posted February 27, 2010 that did not work so this is the one that did not work
robbalvey Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 I have no idea what you're talking about. Your most recent video seems to be working just fine: http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=Racer_Raw!_2009_ek3i
CoasterGeek101 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Posted February 27, 2010 I am talking about the Diamondback SlideShow HD one.http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=Diamondback_SlideShow_HD_2h3p
Hhappy Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 looks like that did not upload correctly (or at all) I'm getting a stream error i would suggest trying to upload it again..
robbalvey Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 HD can also be a tricky format to upload. I'd try a couple of different types of exports to see which works.
CoasterGeek101 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Posted February 27, 2010 It is indeed 1080p. Does the flash player not support it? If it does I will convert it to mp4 and try that. If not I will try 720p.
robbalvey Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 ^ The flash player DOES support it but it depends on the file tyle. I converted all of my HD footage to 1080p .mp4 files with h.264 compression in CS4 and they seemed to work. --Robb
CoasterGeek101 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Posted February 27, 2010 I Just uploaded a 720p file with wmv compression. It seemed to work fine. I will try 1080p though and use mp4. h.263 compression.
robbalvey Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 ^ Yeah, give that a try. I've also had trouble uploading some of my HD videos to YouTube as well. It's still a format that needs a bit of trial and error for each platform you're trying to upload to. --Robb
CoasterGeek101 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Posted February 27, 2010 [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=Racer_Raw!_2009_ek3i[/coastertube] that was just an embed test. I tried it and it looks more like 123pixels. The quality is crappy. Any suggestions?
