Hattuchili Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Call of Duty 2 Hey Robb, do you have any idea, when we will get Call of Duty 2 in Germany, for Game Cube? Or any other system, but not for the computer! I know you are involved in that game, but I am not sure if you have any informations! I have seen the first screenshots and it looks really good. Call of Duty was one of my favorite games. --Sören
ChrisZer0 Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 Hatt,I thought they didnt release "WW2" games in germany due to some issue with "Nazi" images and whatnot. Robb, Saw the preview in PC Gamer some months back..when do we get to see a final product..and will Jason Stathem and Giovanni Ribinsi be reprising their roles?
Sir Clinksalot Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 ^ From what Robb has told me in the past, WWII games are VERY popular in Germany. Kinda odd if you ask me. But I'm not sure when the game comes out.
Hicko Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 I can't wait for this game although I need to buy it for BOTH Xbox 360 and PC (Clan match purposes). Still playing CoD:UO multiplayer to death on the PC though even though Battlefield 2 is taking more of my time now. If I may say so myself I'm a bit of a crackshot with the un-scoped sniper rifles About these type of games not being available in Germany, I'm aware that RTCW didn't come out on the Xbox over there as alot of German Friends on Xbox Live had to import it from other European countries.
robbalvey Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 WWII games are popular in Germany, but we do have to remove some of the nazi symbols for the release in that territory. As for when exactly it will be released in Europe, unfortunatley I don't have that answer. All I know is "Fall 2005" --Robb
Hattuchili Posted August 16, 2005 Author Posted August 16, 2005 Thanks Robb, for the answer. It is really true, there are so many people who like WW2 games. Robb said it, there may not be any nazie symbols. In Germany is the nazie thing a bad theme. --Sören
