Fat-G Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 I was going through all my files and opened Goliath513's old park Rocky Mountain Amusement Park, and started building on to it. However Goliath513's version was Cedar Fair Bashing, mine is a realistic park. Story: Cedar Fair sells the park to Log-Tech Amusement Corporation, a brand new company. SCR31.BMP and finally Planet Snoopy was Fenced off and Crates have started to appear. SCR25.BMP other renames include MaXair renamed the Flip Slide, and Coasters Drive-In being renamed Harvey's Drive-In in preperation for a retheme of that area. SCR24.BMP the Backlot Jet Coaster was removed due to old age and to make room for the new kids area behind it. the station and que will be reused for the new area. SCR23.BMP Planet Snoopy kids area was closed and the rides removed to be located in a brand new larger kids area. the area located around Flight Deck was rethemed to Area 51. Flight Deck was renamed Fighter Ace, Extreme Thrills. SCR22.BMP the new owners closed off the section of the park which contained Firehorse, Son of Firehorse, Drop Tower, and Spinner. Spinner was rremoved to make way for the new S&S Combo Tower called Sandstorm, Drop Tower was removed by CF and replaced by a new giant indor foodcourt and gardens. Son of Firehorse was removed and Firehorse was repainted and renamed El Deablo to complete the new Spanish themed area SCR20.BMP new changes include, Steel Venom being painted, and Dimondback being renamed Searpent
KPWoCkAxX Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 All I can say is it's very flat. But then again, it was a Cedar Fair park. Looks ok, nicely themed and good supports too.
BelgianGuy Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Didn't goliath build all this so you're taking credit for his park?
Fat-G Posted October 26, 2009 Author Posted October 26, 2009 Goliath did build this neat park, i am now simply adding to the park with my own additions. before i started i e mailed goliath and asked for his permission to post my ongoing changes. i am not takeing credit for the park, just for my changes. goliath did a amazing job on this park with the building and supports and now i am bringing my own ideas to it.
Thelegendarymatthew Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 ^^Theres nothing wrong with playing someone elses park. I'm pretty sure Fat-G went ahead and asked permission. If he didn't, then he should consider it, but he already gave him credit. He's not saying "This is my park, and if you don't like it then thats tough moose biscuits". As for my comments to the park, I don't see much from the original park. Which was very great by the way! If your going to take away the CF bashing, then get rid of that Trash-can ride. -Matt
Goliath513 Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Your changes look fine, but like I said in the PM, I don't think this deserves it's own topic and should instead be in either my original thread or in the "preview thread."
Fat-G Posted October 28, 2009 Author Posted October 28, 2009 Goliath513: thanks, I was going to put this in the preview tropic but, knowing me i pressed the wrong button without realizing it sorry. if any of the moderators want to move or delete this topic they can, but i still have a lot more ideas for this park. The new kids area is almost complete, and I've started work on new buildings and a new major coaster for the Spain area. enjoy SCR32.BMP And finally Firehorse's old Fire Effects were turned back on for El-Diablo SCR6.BMP coasters drive in was renamed Harvys Drive in, Time Warp got a new color scheme, and the basketball game was replaced by a Huss Breakdance called Shake Rattle and Roll SCR5.BMP the area consisting of the carousel, bumper cars, coasters drive in, and Time Warp has been rethemed to Pop Culture. Bright colors and pop music populate this area. SCR4.BMP Another view of the new ride SCR3.BMP Planet Snoopy was replaced by the new Mountainside Splashdown. the parks original Splash Boats were removed to make way for Firehorse SCR2.BMP Another view SCR1.BMP Trash Can the Ride was quickly rethemed by the new company as the Space Adventure. A 3-D dark ride
Goliath513 Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 If you're going to continue posting updates, you might as well keep this topic here or have one of the mod's merge it with the original rather than delete it. This new set of changes is pretty cool as well. It's interesting to see my park taken in a new direction by someone else.
