What rides shall I ride at Great America?

I am going to Great America near Chicago in about three weeks. What rides shall I ride for sure and what rides shall I avoid?

I'm there 2-3 times a year. Here's my must ride list. (In order of importance)

 

1. Raging Bull

2. Superman: Ultimate Flight

3. Batman the Ride

4. Giant Drop

5. American Eagle

6. Vertical Velocity

7. Demon

8. Viper

9. Whizzer

 

Leftovers (Only if I have time)

-Iron Wolf

-Deja Vu'

-Water Rides

-Stargate 3000

Again it is what you like but personally i do in order........

 

-Raging Cajun (if you like wild mouses)

-V2 (first if you dont hit the mouse)

-De Ja Vu (you should hit it before noon)

-Viper

-Raging Bull (should be able to hit before 1:00)

-American Eagle (before 1:30)

-Iron Wolf (they got a new train which is pretty smooth and should hit before 2:00)

-Batman (Easily before 3:00, sometimes American Eagle or Iron Wolf can get pretty long)

-Demon

-Whizzer (should be done so far before supper)

AFTER SUPPER

-Raging Bull (little lines around supper)

-Viper (line should die down also)

-American Eagle (should be done by 8:00)

NIGHT COASTERS (all conquered before 10:00pm)

-Iron Wolf

-Batman

-Whizzer >after 9:00 you should be able to get re-rides on most coasters

-Demon

-Super Man (last ride of the night)

 

After 8:00pm you can hit almost every 2 train operation ride (by running) and Super Man isnt really fun unless its the last ride. Also this is for a mid August Sunday. Also this is done by purchasing "1" fastpass cars for about $15.00, it really pays off.

Raging Bull and S:UF are the best.... V2 is fun in the front row... Viper is fun (don't sit in the first row of the last car, no airtime).... nothing else really worth taking the effort to type about. Have fun.

Its "one" new train....there is the old bad one, and the smoother new one.
