Well myself and the gang have returned from another amazing trip to Holiday World, and lucky for you we captured its greatest with our bright pink cybershot.

Enjoy:

But we left our favorite park with great memories and new favortie vacation of all time...well until we come to Holiday World again

68.JPG.073c813bce6110fb9794c5513086e7c9.JPG

It was a sad time having to leave our favorite coaster for who knows how long

67.JPG.64a8013424eca18a090784940d859783.JPG

Pilgrims Plunge was down both days, but with Cedarpoint being our home park we didn't expect much from an intamin

62.JPG.2c94cc72187d25c5caf98004484bfa3f.JPG

Until it was officially taken too far and we left the hat shop forever!

61.JPG.1b77a22f5f24a6aea74e8fcbcf92935e.JPG

We couldn't believe we had never found this place before, and it was hours of laughs...

60.JPG.86af0efd1b82bfab65f22e2e9e220398.JPG

But then the happy birth day, pirate match made everyone laugh

57.JPG.755f9edd58d59f9b5a60271f3ed28eae.JPG

I almost took it too far with this lord of darkness headdress

54.JPG.386bc74286fbdd848ef7611d6645c197.JPG

But keisha and I answered with a hamburger hot dog combo

59.JPG.3cf4ca9876e3eb6cf29932c4e37fd18f.JPG

Zack Jacob and Debbie came hard with their man-faire, squid head, king of lady humps hat mix

As keisha got in on the action with her flying pig hat

55.JPG.86dec760e080b390aa74dd28f0494f68.JPG

Debbie and D had no problem with making fun of missing children

53.JPG.456f3c083584fec9cf9dd30c601bdde6.JPG

At the little known jewel of holiday world, the crazy hat shop!

51.JPG.82112fcc6bdcdd83fc0117512253eebc.JPG

But how did we spend over an hour in Christmas you might ask?

50.JPG.5b2ae0ebe6f1e27c41ca0cbb883c4464.JPG

When the water park got crowded we head off to Christmas, where we didnt find any fun rides

48.JPG.735396a08d57e23ff48bb45c2e819fe5.JPG

But undisclosed injuries entering this portion of the ride resulted in it not being our consensus favorite

47.JPG.1263b7a5975cae454f3976404de05cf2.JPG

Zinga could have been our favorite...

46.JPG.44cfd3d4b44333b35a56df7fbf736961.JPG

Zoombabwe was our favorite hands down

45.JPG.cbad4f2398f6d68571067207a8f9eb54.JPG

The racer slide is nice but did you know they have FREE SOFT DRINKS in the water park too?

66.JPG.0af23748f5ecb5df46f56a4203833605.JPG

Before we hit the water park we started our day with a healthy breakfast full of Voyage

44.JPG.24d5756f22c54a25fb457884fc2fcc25.JPG

Day 2 came and we ... reported for duty?

43.JPG.08952b1c9898114d6011e6c05d5e70f2.JPG

And thanks to some friendly ride ops, the 6 of us had the entire last train of the night on Voyage all to ourselves!

42.JPG.3f730ab24152dd71ab099bbddbcb44d9.JPG

And we marathoned FREE SOFT DRINKS

41.JPG.6d80edefaba585ec3c39d3734f384cb1.JPG

We marathoned Legend

40.JPG.5eed2b52b91e215d081c600bbbdcd725.JPG

As the sun started to go down we marathoned Raven

39.JPG.078ff4e70df5e08b1a7a425c4cc81281.JPG

We felt just like Lewis and Clark chugging along in our 1915 automobiles

38.JPG.459953cfe8bce5f725062d1e3c12f9b3.JPG

While sipping on FREE SOFT DRINKS we took a ride on Lewis and Clark Trail

35.JPG.210cbe3c4867b8e24501b2cac673fc13.JPG

We came for FREE SOFT DRINKS

36.JPG.a86144b90b5a03485041b1d336346d04.JPG

We didn't come to the Land of 4th of July for this

37.JPG.5158e0329cbfb439120a94242210acc2.JPG

We didn't come to 4th of July for this

34.JPG.cfadcfe301baf207d8f7a47fd2a07288.JPG

Next we headed to 4th of July land..do you call it land?

33.jpg.dea69208589820341161d44cdff96060.jpg

It's me acknowleging The Voyage is my #1 coaster, and Keisha ackowledging she just pee'd a little

32.JPG.5d96e0cded9c816735ec05f3f618023f.JPG

Here's another good photo and...oh wait, whats that again!?

31.jpg.bd54165e0982b0b9938ae1fe9664d02c.jpg

We zoom in to see Debbie and Jacob acknowledging The Voyage is the greatest coaster ever built

30.JPG.6fb90291480eb4c9396ba454fdfa2757.JPG

Ok ok I made that up too, but this ride is amazing...and hey whats that there?

65.JPG.56c9ec2a213cb17c7c6956a18ee35b58.JPG

And there's also no doubt to the reports that virgin woman have climbed aboard The Voyage and returned to the station 3 months pregnant

29.JPG.43e2f80363d977353f412c8574c0580f.JPG

But there's no doubt that it's the greatest, most air-time filled, hands down #1 coaster in the planet.

28.JPG.fd9e2a5a1d6832a70b74086d9b3d6ea8.JPG

Ok ok so maybe I lied and it's not really the tallest or fastest coaster on earth.

27.JPG.bb77a07c25b9386f1ffdb2cd179e8de9.JPG

As these riders reach the 'about 500ft' mark they are preparing themselves for the 275mph greatest coaster on earth

26.JPG.eb5ca351b8094c1af3764210b6ec5231.JPG

We never really heard the exact statistics but from this photo you can see just how big 'about 800ft' is

25.JPG.f55ec1f2152b6a9f1827e66a49defc17.JPG

As you can see by this photo The Voyage is the tallest roller coaster on the planet, standing at what we roughly estimated to be 800ft.

22.JPG.89f40f860c916647e152d95a1f509381.JPG

Oh, also over in Thanksgiving is The REAL Greatest World Wide Ever...bla bla Coaster on earth!

21.JPG.2040cc8a2f2d9d46ada3e0058179477b.JPG

MORE FREE SOFT DRINKS

20.JPG.d765470e244177db654ddf031003a902.JPG

Thanksgiving was next, and everyone knows what is waiting for us there...

19.JPG.c7beaa0fef1e3e0064b860071164e307.JPG

The 88 degree drop then dives into the "Worlds Loudest Tunnel" as you head into the wilderness/water park

18.JPG.dac37bce2b1aaf91fc572511db24fd78.JPG

We LOVE The Legends first drop as it's obvious to see from around the park that it's 88 degrees

16.JPG.a60cd3c0f32aa55d094cd2e321ac165c.JPG

Since The Legend is much more photogenic than Raven we got some nice layout shots like this one

14.JPG.8256a32544fc6bc30c2d0e1f131d332f.JPG

On to The Legend we went

13.JPG.9fe4feb6aa3c2f3ba1d2b8075908d80a.JPG

FREE SOFT DRINKS

12.JPG.21838fbf32e23f0c3af0e693e84c7ebc.JPG

The Legend also resides in Halloween, but first we headed to...

11.JPG.b0c9ccdad08f58dc45bcfc9c84bd4950.JPG

And when he came back down this is the best shot of the Raven in action he could get

10.JPG.369203ca48d724fb5356a2d6cf7a13f9.JPG

The Raven is so hard to photograph that we asked this Holiday World employee to climb this tower and try to get a shot for us

9.JPG.834ffe8f6ac3fae5ceaa51ae5820ca71.JPG

It is so un-photogenic that this is the best action shot we could get

8.JPG.f9355a15656a1476159f14b2f53f3cd3.JPG

We wouldn't quite give it that title, but we will give it the title of hardest coaster to photograph in the world

7.JPG.0d42e8350512a5439813582ee8afbee4.JPG

Halloween is home to the Greatest World Wide Most Amazing Fantastic Coaster Ever Built on Earth Ever in the World

6.JPG.ddb461700cba419f1ea7972d6cbba87b.JPG

Well our adventure starts in the O-SO scary Halloween

5.JPG.0f88e768dfc8b00d0f064cf5bbb0dca1.JPG

But everyone is excited for FREE SOFT DRINKS

4.JPG.97be8f91ad2aa3e304b45ccc255b1fca.JPG

Myself and Keisha are excited for her first time at Holiday World

3.JPG.d9ff0f777db3fd45d10c19a5d8c52e8e.JPG

Sara and I are excited for Rabbits with an excessive amount of arms

2.JPG.27517a67e33d9ff17bbc214978633dd5.JPG

Me, Keisha, D, and Jacob are excited to see Santa

We arrive at a place much better than Cedar Point

$40 - who said anything about $40 - I'm going to Greatest Wood Coasters on Earth (and free soft drinks, too!) World on Thursday, but I only intend on spending $20 on a 1-day ticket.

I bought mine from a TV station in Nashville that was runing a Buy 1 Get 1 sale back in April or May.

Imgine this wood coaster lineup

Wednesday - Cornball Express, LoCoSuMo, and Hoosier Hurricane (Really, can't wait to try Steel Hawg either)

Thursday - Voyage, Raven, Legend

Friday - Screamin Eagle, Boss, Evil Kenevil

Will Six Flags St. Louis suffer the "Post Holiday World Trip Let Down" that SFKK usually suffers from, time will tell!

Posted

^^Nope, all three of St. Louis' woodies are great...just like Holiday World's. (Plus, MR. FREEZE!!!)

too bad you had to pay $40 to get into Free Soft Drink World

Try paying $80 and not getting free drinks. Welcome to Orlando.

The lady in the last picture, she was so nice! I got to meet her on the TPR Midwest Trip.

Mrs Koch and her family are amazing people. We saw her on our way out the second day and asked her for a picture with us. We told her we live up by Cedarpoint but we like it here at her park much better, and instead of just giving us a nice thank you and moving us along she wanted to know the exact reasons why we liked her park more and she really cared what we had to say.

I wouldn't expect to get that from most big time park owners.

I haven't been on Evel Knievil, but last year the boss was running pretty horribly and Screamin Eagle was pretty good. Either way I'm still guessing if all of SFStL's woodies are running well they still won't hold a candle to Holiday World's.
