Coasters 4 ever Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 What is the most crowded restaurant in the World Showcase at Epcot? By this I mean what tends to have a most crowds for a restaurant there? BTW, I wasn't sure if this should go in the Random forum or here. I chose this one because the restaurants are all located in a theme park.
NitroJoeC Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 How ironic that you posted that since we're going to Epcot tonight for my birthday dinner (bday is tomorrow, what did you all get me?) and have found nearly EVERY restaurant with no priority seating for eight. We're going to wait it out in japan, so hopefully everything works out for us! Joe "yay 1 year closer to being able to rent a car with no surcharges!" C.
CoasterFanatic Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 AS a rule of thumb, you should usually try to make your reservations at least 2-3 weeks in advance. The larger the party, the earlier you should make them. In my experience, the most popular are: France Mexico Japan They are also some of the most expensive. Go figure.
dandaman Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 On the same topic, I already know San Angel Inn (Mexico) is popular, only because of going on El Rio Del Tiempo... But, what about Alfredo's (Italy)? I've heard good things, but was just wondering about the crowd level. We're eating there anyways... heck, might as well, with the free food, monorail access, etc... Ah, it's a good life.

I worked front desk at Disney so I know all about Dining. These three are the more popular ones. Add Italy to that list too. Those.. in the summer, you want to make seatings as early as possible. It doesnt have to be weeks, but if you want a decent time, or a large group, then 2-3 weeks is good. Usually if u have a party larger than 4, its going to be harder and harder to get tables at a decent time if you dont plan ahead. 1800-WDW-DINE is ure best friend! As for the other restaurants- Canada- another one to plan for in advance, expensive = popular. England- *Usually* you can get away with same day seatings here. Norway and Morocco- You can almost always get seatings here same day. China- A few days in advance. Again.. *Most* places you can make same day seatings for.. but you're going to be eating really early (5-6pm) or really late (8:30-9:30). Hope this helps! I'll be in Disney.. in.. 26 hours!
