testtrack321 Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Great TR, just I HIGHLY disagree with the comedic value of UoE. One of the funniest rides around.
Keasbey Nights Posted July 10, 2009 Author Posted July 10, 2009 I rode it when I was 7 or 8 and didn't appreciate the ride at all. Now that I am about ten years older and more mature, I was able to understand the ride and the humor...I just thought that Ellen wasn't funny. No worries. I'm glad that you like it; the attraction is highly underrated.
dragsterfan420 Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Nice TR. I need to get back to the Orlando parks. Some "upgrades" have been made since I was there.
Keasbey Nights Posted July 13, 2009 Author Posted July 13, 2009 disneymoc - unfortunately, no. I didn't have a waterproof camera (or a waterproof case). dragsterfan420 - to be honest, it feels like Islands of Adventure doesn't make updates very often. I suppose that the others do. Universal has packed in a solid selection of rides over the past five years.

Keasbey Nights Posted July 13, 2009 Author Posted July 13, 2009 Harry Potter won't be done for another year. It says coming in 2010, but I suspect a summer/fall opening at the earliest. You won't have to worry about HRRR, though.

Keasbey Nights Posted July 14, 2009 Author Posted July 14, 2009 Every time I hear that comment, I smile. I feel like more people should be exposed to the greatness that is Streetlight Manifesto. Catch-22 is awesome as well.

Catch-22 is awesome as well. Well, Catch-22 used to be Streetlight, or at least parts of it. Lead singner left and a few others for school, Catch got some new band members, then the old guys formed Streetlight. My friends live in the NJ area where they're from, and one of them is taught by an ex Catch drummer!
Keasbey Nights Posted July 14, 2009 Author Posted July 14, 2009 ...I know. That's why I mentioned them in the first place. And heck, my avatar is the cover of the Catch-22 version of Keasbey Nights. That's pretty awesome that your friend is taught by an ex-Catch drummer, though. It'd be amazing to have, say, Jim Conti give me sax lessons (I've played for six years). Anyway, back to theme parks. Mission: SPACE was running more intensely than a couple of years ago.

Took me a little while for it to sit in w/ your name and your avatar before I posted. Anyway, back to theme parks. Mission: SPACE was running more intensely than a couple of years ago. Yes, back to the topic. I don't know if that's right. It's probably just you thought it was weaker, or the ride system was just recently tuned up. I know that the ride profile has not been edited, just as CTX to Dinosaur hasn't been changed. 11 more days!
Keasbey Nights Posted July 15, 2009 Author Posted July 15, 2009 Well, I was in 8th grade the last time I rode it. I'm now in 11th. Considering that I've matured more, it would make sense if the ride felt easier on me.
