Guest
A few notes -Terminator and X2's audio did not work for us . We could clearly hear while in line for X2 many of the trains before us it did work, bad luck I guess. -Queue misters, holy hell. They are so dense in some lines and some of them are broken resulting in spraying people with water getting them soaking wet -Tatsu did not open with the park and had a big crane next to it most of the day, then to our surprise opened in the afternoon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qnu7hvmX9j8 Advertising Rode the Orient Express for the first (and probably last) time just to say ive ridden it. It was neat I guess, but would probably take less time to just walk up the side of the hill. First coaster of the day was Ninja. This guy was going up to random people and yelling "HIYA!!!" and scaring the crap out of them. Was pretty good queue line entertainment [see video]. This big crane was there working on Tatsu. The Skytower had some high ridership Worlds tallest heaping pile of s[teel]. At least it looks cool. Love this corner of the park.

Guest
Terminator Salvation: The Giant Inverted Boomerang Terminator Salvation: The Will Smith Music Video Terminator Salvation: The Tree Terminator Salvation: The Ride Terminator Salvation: The Torture Terminator Salvation: The Electrical Theming In The First Preshow Room Many of the employees still wear the old shirts Riddler had a bit of a line It really irks me how they have crowd control staffed at the bottom of the stairs and they dont even prevent this. Who wants to be stuck in this rediculous station when its 85 degrees, what a joke. Batmans line was much more tolerable. Though its strange how theming tends to randomly dissapear from this line. It was a walkon though!
Guest
It was nice going from the big crowds at Terminator/DejaVu/Riddler to the empty as always Scream. Colossus running one side like always. The Morgan trains werent running too bad (not that they were any good, just not too bad). Door randomly left open with big FLAMMABLE logo inside. I had just gotten raped by the misters in Goliath's line RIP Decided to take a spin on Revolution for some strange reason (probably because it was a walk on). The heavily rehabbed train. This brings me to my next point, Revolution is absolutely terrible and I hate it more every ride. It is by far the worst excuse for a Schwarzkopf coaster on the face of this earth and if I ever go with someone who needs the credit will probably just be sitting out from now on instead of taking a beating from the horrendous restraints and painful brakes. Which is sad cause im sure at one point it was a great ride, for some reason this ride is just brutal to me. Didnt this just have a huge crane working on it a few hours ago?? Yes, Tatsu opened and ran with both stations (though still only 2 trains) This scene brings back memories of Shockwave at SFGAm. So while Viper is running half empty trains its neighbor had a 1 1/2 hour line Despite the onboard audio not working it was still a great ride, and it was pitch dark when we rode (the line took forever after the split)
ChrisZer0
Excellent TP, I'm just curious, when did SF think it was a good idea to put their front line employees in those loud neon green shirts?? Those things are obnoxious...
Guest
They started wearing those in the 2008 season, parks being understaffed was a big complaint and Mark Shapiro noticed at a Cubs game that the vendors bright yellow shirts made them stick out more so he decided that it was a good idea for theme parks. x2tatsu
Hey... I remember you! 2 girls and I were standing behind you and your friend while in line for Riddler!! Here's a hint if you don't remember: you said you didn't know what Disneyland was then you hid the logo on your shirt. haha. I'm actually in the picture you took of Riddler's line in the station. bottom right corner, black shirt, black hair, looking to my right. You guys were very lucky to go on X2, Tatsu, and Deja Vu. We didn't have the patience. And oddly enough, my Terminator train's audio wasn't working either, and it was my second time on it that day!! That Ninja operator was freaky! simaand
Nice TR, Anyone know why they need a crane to fix Tatsu? Thanks.
dino
Great TR, loved the last shot of Viper. That Ninja operator made me laugh, he proves that funny/freaky ride ops make queues more fun. As for the "Things that move faster than this line" bit, got to see that in more TRs .
