marktippins
Hi all. Golden Park is not really my first park I've ever created, but it's my first that i intend to finish and put the time into. I've been looking all over the forums at rct2 parks and there are so many amazing designers, so i don't guarantee you perfection in what i create. As i said, I'm kind of new to this, although I've been playing rct1 since forever So yeah, comment and give me advise on how to improve please, thanks! Oh yeah, i only started this park last night so it's no way complete. Entrance plaza thing with monorail. Another view of the entrance, there are 3 separate bridges leading to different ends of the park. Monorail station, toilets and a restaurant (which has a balcony over looking the water). the carousel is named Golden Cirlce Ride names aren't my thing. Secret Weapon is an indoors mini coaster, designed with children in mind. But it turned out a bit sinister.
netdvn
The positives... The buildings are extremely well designed. I especially love the monorail building. The landscaping is amazing. The park reminds me of a garden almost... The negatives... The pathway around the entrance plaza seems a little plain and open. Maybe try adding more than one color footpath or including some more landscaping like flowers in certain parts around the plaza itself. Some of the buildings need windows or at least incorportate bigger ones. Many of them look like bare walls and it looks a little boring. --------------- Overall the park has some great potential. Keep up the good work.
Fat-G
looks great. i'm not particulary a fan of secret weapons roof. try doing something different and maybe put more color around the park, but still great start
marktippins
Thank you for your comments, I've been working on improvements so yeah, cheers! Okay, so for the update (and yes i know it has been a while) I've been working on the buildings, adding extra detail and changing a few things about as well as there being two new rides. A mini golf thing, not much i know, but it fit perfect with the surroundings. The second is a woodie! Just check it out. I've added an extra raised flower bed, also I couldn't find away for there to be flowers around the edge of the path that would look right. Secret Weapon now has an extra side building which covers up part of the queue line with a sign saying 'Prepare for a secret....you will never forget' The mini golf attraction, not much else to say than that really. This is Carnage. Hello Carnage. The woodie set in the forest, It's not finished yet, as you will see from the next picture. Carnage's station, I'm not sure what i think of it, It's not complete yet so there's time to improve.
Thelegendarymatthew
Ok, your not as bad as some people, but I do see some spots that are in dire need of improvement, so I'm going to help by giving some tips. -The lake in the entrance area should have more terrain around the water. -Secret Weapons roof -You see that park of the track where it goes outside (Secret Weapon), BANK IT! -Use more tree types -Don't make your buildings too repetitive. -Whenever the path goes down into the ground, make sure that the ground goes down too. -Why does the stone pathway have to be the path choice for a ride themed to a "secret" weapon? -Your only foliage is trees, and a few plants. Try to add a bit more -Too many balconys IMO -The monorail doesn't really fit in the entry building, but thats just me. I can imagine it being in the same building, but sort of like how WDW does there train station. Again, this is just me. -The exit path over the wooden coaster could be raised up a bit. -The brake run on the wooden coaster is way to short. -Another "just me" thing, but the mini golf thing. I can see it in this park, but not where its at. I would like to see it right by the front in its own little section. -I can see the stations railings from the SW picture. On the good side, I like the woodies layout, Secret Weapon is looking promising, and as long as theres more to add I'll be watching -Matthew K. themeparkman25
^I swear the day you say more positive things than negative things (whether tips how they should build their parks like yours, or how something is always wrong), is the day that TPR closes. Unbelievable. I, on the other hand, think this park has a ton of potential and I am loving what you have so far.

netdvn
The good... - The woodie looks great. - The entrance plaza is much better than before The bad... - The mini golf area should use a bit more color. Maybe add some flowers and some colorful scenery to make it look more attractive. - SW's building seems a bit plain. - Carnage's huge building and the large roof overpower the small windows on the side. There is a TON of potential in this park. Excellent work so far.
marktippins
Once again guys, thanks for all your comments, even if a few of them are essays Now, I've tried to take in all the tips and work on them and this is what I've got so far. Oh yeah, about SW's roof, i can't actually do much with it because I haven't got all the separate roof pieces that come in the pack, for some reason. I could change the roof altogether but it wouldn't fit with the walls, what do you think? SW is now banked on the outside part of the ride. Toy Town is a souvenir shop for all the little kiddies. Carnage has been fully landscaped now. I've worked on the station and created this rocky sort of contraption that goes over one of the paths to carnage and also over the track. Overview of the park so far, only a quarter used, still more to go!
netdvn
I suggest adding the rock formation around the entrance plaza of the ride and around the actual layout, not the station building since the rocks seem out of place around the building... As for SW's building, the roof tiles on the portion of the building above the banked turn should be replaced or you could support the outer edge of the roof with something else... marktippins
^ Yeah i agree, the rocks don't look nice around the station, after sitting back and looking at it i realized. I've began work on sorting it out as well as there being another ride, a topspin themed alongside Carnage named Chaos. Update tomorrow Oh, and thanks again for the Comments. marktippins
Hi all. I have the update i promised, and the topspin i promised As well as a bumper cars ride. I'm working on a water attraction next, something BIG. New to the scene is 'Bump' which is a enclosed dodgems ride. A couple of vending machines and work continued on the monorail. From here you can see the monorail passing through Carnage's lift hill. Chaos sits in a hill, surrounded by corroded rock which are the remains of a once popular and busy mining village.....Or not. Different view of Chaos' area, notice the doughnut stand built into the rock. In the background is Carnage's gift/ photo shop And another one for you! The other entrance into to this area can be seen alongside Chaos.
