lil jimmy norton Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Chief Brody's wife would be proud. Awesome, awesome, awesome.
Lenaapple1974 Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Scott, awesome PTR! Very funny. I like the theming throughout the captions. You have done what I was complaining that I didn't do in my most recent thread with picturs!! I hope I remember for next time. I may be too excited to see "Ray" though. LOL. Great report! Hope to see more soon!!
BeemerBoy Posted May 14, 2009 Author Posted May 14, 2009 Time to tackle the comments. PS: Did you get any pictures of the manta rays in the aquarium at Manta? I'd love to see some pictures of those guys! Unfortunately I was not able to spot any in the tank. However, the people surrounding us in line claimed to have seen about 50-60 of them. And I was expecting a shout out on the carousel for old times sake. That has been fixed, my friend. To be fair, there was standing water on the track. If you added some fake wind, it could of been like "hurricane-themed" miniature remote operated monster trucks. Hmmm, interesting angle on that one. I like it. Hey Beemerboy, you didn't happen to be at SFOG this past Sunday with a TPR shirt on did you?No, sir. We were actually at the World Golf Hall of Fame near St. Augustine, FL. [shameless plug] Which you'll be able to see in my sports thread soon. [/shameless plug] Without a doubt one of the funniest photos I have ever viewed!!! I seriously love the dedication to the cause in the fact it actually looks like you took a cut-out of the train and held it at the right angle to get the photo!!!!!! P.S. I only say this cause I think I can see your thumb holding the photo and the image is focused on the train rather than the track. Thanks! Truly a result of extreme boredom at work the day before a vacation. Wait, what thumb? That's the real train! Thanks for the photo of the smashed Manta penny machine. No problem, man! This is nine billion kinds of awesome. You rule. Thanks, Dave. I'd be remiss however, if I didn't admit that you have taught all of us the ways of the shark, the powers they possess, and the ability they have to transform average reports into awesomeness. Chief Brody's wife would be proud. I guess I can safely say mission accomplished then! Scott, awesome Photo TR! Taiko Happy Very funny. I like the theming throughout the captions. You have done what I was complaining that I didn't do in my most recent thread with picturs!! Thanks, Lena. And speaking of your report (at least I think that's where I remember it from), yes they do still have the false killer whales. As always, a big thanks to all of you who posted a compliment. It's appreciated. And just for kicks, I'll add several more pics that I forgot the first time around. There's also a soft opening at the park right now. And c'mon, who doesn't like soft openings? Thanks again for viewing. Sea World has a stargate! The sci-fi nerds will rejoice! Random Ray signage. The next best thing to feeding dolphins. Is there some kind of connection between Sea World and South Park that I'm unaware of? Where was this when I was a kid? Lena, they make great surfboards! A lame pic of the set for Pet's Ahoy, since a couple of you mentioned it.
moinab Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 Sorry I'm late to the party, just catching up, here! We LOVE Pets Ahoy!!! Haven't been since my older two were just little schmoos, but we'll be heading back soon! I'm not ashamed to admit that Jaws 3-D was my first Jaws movie, and my favorite! And while the Jaws captions and photos were indeed all kinds of awesome, you TOTALLY rule for the One Crazy Summer reference!!!!!!!! "Why are you so fat?!?! Why are you so fat?!?!"
