panther33 Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Its finally here! Today I visited the park. And took some pictures. Here is the ticket booths and the parking/drop off area. After you get your tickets. You obviously go straight to the enterance. Well here it is! This is the first ride you see as you enter the park. Sky Tower. At only 200ft. but it is a good ride to get a great view of the park, and the city! These are some shops that are in the front of the enterance. Way-Out, The Emporium, etc. Right near the shops is the Midway Station for the Six Flags Express. On your way to Hometown USA. You can see Maggie's and some other shops and food. Such as Subway. This is also the exit to Whizzer. This is Whizzer's queue and station. This is the final "high speed turn" of Whizzer. And the transfer house. And to wrap things up. I will give you a photo of the first thrill ride. Orbiter which is an enterprise. Notice the construction of the blue building. There was a sign in front saying its the parks first of 6 carousels! I will be back at the park in a couple of days to give you guys another PTR. Thanks! -Chris Bachorik- Constructive ideas, suggestions?
Goliath513 Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 It's good to see another good Six Flags RCT2 park lately. This park reminds me much of SFGAm. Inspiration, perhaps?
panther33 Posted April 24, 2009 Author Posted April 24, 2009 Sam it is me, Chris from RCPro. Yes thats true. Each area of the park is inspired by another Six Flags. This one being Great America. Yes Las Vegas is in the desert. I didnt show any picks of it yet. But the park is surounded by sand.
megamatt Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Oh ok. I just thought it looked too "green" to be surrounded by desert. Very very good park. A good balance of rides to scenery and buildings.
netdvn Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Excellent work! Everything is detailed. It looks like you've obviously spend a large amount of time on your park. Keep it up because I can't wait for your next update
Fat-G Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 this looks great, the landscaping looks a lot better then other RCT2 parks i have seen. 1 comment however, you should build up land under the railroad, unless this is a small segment of bridge how many parks spend money just to make the supports for the railroa. i guess im saying that it would more realistic with ground under the tracks. still a great park
HEADCHEEZ Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Oh ok. I just thought it looked too "green" to be surrounded by desert. Very very good park. A good balance of rides to scenery and buildings. In my part of the city, It looks as green as can be!
Stoksy Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 This park looks very promising, the buildings made me think of Las Vegas when I saw them. I'm really looking forward to the progress of this park.
