Gonna be in Philly on Saturday May 30. Gonna check out the city during the day. I am wonder if it is worth going to Clementon park around 6 or 7pm when they close at 9. Is the Hellcat any good (in your opinions) and is there much else there?

I'll be honest, there really isn't all that much there.

I think that HellCat is very good. However, it really depends on if you like agressive rides. Some of the spots on the ride are considered rough by some accounts.

Other than that ride, there is a decent flume, and a very small selection of flats. I do like the swings and the swinging bobs ride, but the park doesn't really offer much more than that.

Depending on where you are planning on going there from in Philly on a Saturday, getting there could be a headache.

Two hours at Clementon is twice as much time as you need. I loved Tsunami/J2/Puma/Hellcat, but I also rode it during opening season.

I am a Clementon native & I go to Clementon Park at least 6x a year just to ride HellCat. It is a fun woodie & you can even see the Philly skyline from the top of the ride at night. If you are a credit whore than I would say go for it! However there is not that much to do in my little town's amusement park. It is a nice experience but you really can get the whole park done in about 2 hours & if you get there around 6 PM & when the buses leave you should be in the park & out in about an hour.

Tsunami was awesome. I could imagine it's a bit different now as Hellcat with some brakes added. I would get it. I went when the new ownership took over. They didn't have Hellcat ready before Memorial Day it seemed. Now that it's year two it'll probably be up. I would call ahead. The season pass deal is still up on the website. It looks enticing. I'm due to make a return.
