Hi everybody,

I've been reading this website for over a year, but now I really need your help.

Since Ryanair offers really cheap flights from Brussels to Madrid, I was thinking about going to Parque Warner at the end of april. But their website is only in Spanish so maybe you guys could give me some information. I have a few questions:

What is the cheapest way of going from Madrid Airport to Parque Warner?

Are there any (cheap)hotels near the park?

What is the best day to go?

What is the regular wait time on the most popular coasters?

Do they have any kind of Fast/Flash-pass system, and how does it work/what does it cost?

(Sorry for my bad English!)

Regards,

I'm sure someone can help you with some of your questions about getting to the park as they've been answered on the site before. I know there is a train, but we've always either rented a car or used the TPR Bus!

As for a few things...

-There is not much out by Parque Warner. We've always stayed in Madrid, or near the airport when we have visited the park.

- As for when to go, it really depends what time of year. We went early in the season one time on a weekend and it wasn't that bad. We also went in July on a weekday, and the waits were longer, but not terrible.

- They do have a fastpass option. It wasn't too much money (maybe like 15 Euro) and VERY worth it!

- Superman always seemed to have one of the longest lines of the day, and if I remember correctly it was the only coaster to NOT have the FastPass option.

It's a lovely park, and I'm sure you'll have a great time.

If I remember correctly the Fast Pass was a sticker that you put on your shirt. There was a separate entrance that you used with the Fast Pass sticker to bypass most or all of the line.

Very helpful on their awesome rapids ride on such a hot day.

We rented a car and stayed in a small town called Pinto. Pinto is more or less at the border of the Madrid metropole and from there you have easy access by car to PW (about 10 minutes driving) and it's also only a 15 minute drive to PdA.

The hotel was nice and clean, but the surroundings outside were lightly industrial, but you don't notice that while in the hotel. If you decide to rent a car and you are interested in the hotel's name we stayed in, let me know and I'll look it up. Also, if you rent a car, make sure you have a gps with you as the ringways around Madrid are quite easy to get lost in. Or at least make sure you look at the map of Madrid in advance to find out the logic in the ring numbers. Something I should have done before leaving the airport in Madrid.

I don't have any experience with public transport but I know the parks are quite easy to go to by train & bus but then you should look for a hotel near the Atocha railwaystation. You can buy rail-park combi tickets for PW. If I'm not mistaken, you have to take the train to Pinto (yes, after Madrid, Pinto is the place where it all happens ) and take the bus as from there.

I copied the English translation of the directions to Parque Warner. They are not perfect, but I hope this helps you lead you in the right direction.

Getting to Parque Warner Madrid is very simple, you can choose to come by train, bus or car, you decide:

TRAIN

If you opt for the train from Atocha you can take the line C3 Aranjuez direction, you have to get off at "Leisure Park". Piolín Also Saturday, Bugs ... you join a direct train from Chamartín (www.renfe.es / cercanias ).

BUSIf yours is the bus in Villaverde exchanger under the bus line 412, "The Swift" will bring you to the theme park fun of Europe (www.samar.es).

AUTO

If you prefer to come on your own car does not need GPS to get on the highway A4 exit 22 just follow the signs. ¡Es muy fácil!. It's easy!.

Thanks everybody for the soon reactions!

I'm also thinking about going to PortAventura, does anyone know how the lines will be there at the last week of april(21-28)? The Fastpass they offer is quite expensive(42 euro), and I can't affort that for more than one day, also Furuis Baco does not have a Fastpass line. So PortAventura is more than twice as expensive as Parque Warner, is it worth the money?
