Treating Knoebels like a credit run should be considered a crime.

Rest assured I've done plenty of bitching to them on the subject! They didn't even do the flyers or the skooters

I can't imagine placing Knoebel's above a park like...Cedar Point.

fanboy

Did you fill out a comment card telling Knoebels they need better customers? Next time just go to Holiday World and pay almost $40 and get half the rides

Note to others: I'm just giving Doug s***. I'm cool with the fact that some folks just prefer bigger parks

I'm an eternal pessimist and if I like traditional rides it is only because they are run better sometimes. On my first trip to Knoebels I completely expected to poo poo the place afterwards but I was blown away because they know how to run their old flats. Except the Whip which is "dead" to me, you can ring that little traditional bell all you want but that don't help the ride..

I am a person who couldn't care less about 'traditional parks'...whatever they're still just parks and most of them aren't as good as the newer big parks...

KNOEBELS IS BETTER!!!! Seriously, I also went to Knoebels for my first time expecting to hate the place (Nature and Pepsi) but came away loving the park sooo much!!!

I don't even understand how someone could have a bad day, or think Phoenix isn't great, etc.

Well, I hadn't bothered looking at this post for quite a while thinking that it had gone dead, just done catching up really!

The trip is still in the pipeline, however after some advice from you peeps It may be fewer parks than originally intended, however still going to be a 40 day trip, my reasons for this are as follows......going to be starting a family soon, so as my wife can't stand big coasters, I cannot see me being able to drag her round the world once the family has started (robb....some people get all the luck!! Elissa - you are 1 in a million it would appear!).

Second reason is that I will be taking a sabatical as I will be leaving my current employee to start a new career, I just need to finish my MCSE before I can do this, so it does all hinge on me passing my final 4 exams for Microsoft. Once this has been done the trip can start.

Originally it was just an idea that could happen, Obviously as I get closer (things change over time) to this happening the plans will inevitably change, I may just do the East Coast or just the West Coast, I really couldn't tell you at the moment, all I know is there is a lot of Coastering and Credit Whoring to be done in the US that I am definatly missing out on!!!!!!!!!! And I want to catch up with parks that I have wanted to goto for more than 15 years! Bit of a lifelong ambition really

Anyways, thanks for all the comments people, given me a lot of food for thought!
