thrillgeek Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Happy turkey day everyone! I hope you all have a great day and eat lots of food!
robbalvey Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 What do I have to be thankful for today? I'm thankful that Papalino's was open! Otherwise we would have had Thanksgiving at either Subway or Taco Bell! --Robb "Mmm...yummy Chicken Parmesan!" Alvey
robbalvey Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 ^ Same. We were going to go to Claim Jumper today but we got there and they were all "Thanksgiving Menu Only" and it was all filled with turkey and stuffiing and crap so we were all "screw this!" and it was some yummt Italian food for us! --Robb "The only holiday I celebrate is Halloween" Alvey
thrillgeek Posted November 28, 2008 Author Posted November 28, 2008 ^Nice! I'm thankful for having the day off from work. Actually my work (Target) is closed today. I'm also thankful that my parents/grand parents care so much for me.
spaceace12 Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 I am thankful to have a home to be in after the June floods. I had Thanksgiving dinner at Church on Sunday, had one today at home, will have some more in about an hour or so here at work. Have leftovers tomorrow. And possibly Saturday. I am tempted ot head down to the local motorcycle dealer tomorrow and try to be one of the first 200 in at the store and get a 5 dollar cash card (not much, but will make a pair of riding gloves cheaper).
BelizeIt Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Perhaps Robb and Elissa are secretely Jehovah Witnesses. They don't seem to celebrate any Holidays. Politics is on the back burner. Thanksgiving dinner at Taco Bell? Christmas on the high seas. I have a friend in Florida who is a Jehovah Witness, and he says Thanksgiving is great! He gets a paid Thursday off work for know reason at all! Of course I'm kidding about Robb and Elissa, but it's still nice to have a day off to spend with the family.
XII Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 ^Robb couldn't be a Jehovah's Witness, He doesn't have enough time to go around and knock on people's doors to try and convert them. Anyways, I hope everyone on TPR has a good Thanksgiving..
Wood Dragon 1988 Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 First work, then grandparents. Then I went home and watched Christmas Vacation, The Office, and Roller Coasters in the Raw. Not a bad day I guess. Happy Thanksgiving.
coasterdude5 Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Happy Thanksgiving TPR! I hate turkey, but Honey Baked Ham is awesome, so it all worked out for me.
