Nasu Highlands to add Indoor Coaster

Nasu Highlands in Japan has announced a new indoor coaster. by the looks of the image above its going to be Ocean Themed.

 

Will be interesting to see what the rides like. but judging by the parks track record i would expect it to be a Meisho ride

 

The article above makes it sound like the parks F2 may be closed for 2009.

I seem to remember quite a few people who have visited the park didn't like F2 too much. so probably not a great loss if it is

They announced the SLC is coming out? That's very strange! When we were there in September we talked to the General Manager of the park and he showed us the location of the new coaster. He didn't say anything about the SLC going and in fact he had us shoot a POV of it!

 

Are you *SURE* the SLC is being removed?

I have changed the topic to suit. However its worth keeping an eye on it

IIRC, the construction site for the new coaster was right next to F2. Probably just closing the area down for construction access.
