Gutterflower Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Hey all Not a big announcement this. but in the interest of completeness i shall post it anyway http://www.nasuhai.co.jp/news/detail.cgi?n=0051 © Nasu Highlands Nasu Highlands in Japan has announced a new indoor coaster. by the looks of the image above its going to be Ocean Themed. Will be interesting to see what the rides like. but judging by the parks track record i would expect it to be a Meisho ride The article above makes it sound like the parks F2 may be closed for 2009. We apologize for the inconvenience, but The following attractions of the season will be canceled and bon appétit. 12月1日(月)~ Dec 1 (Mon) Two F (for the construction of an indoor coaster) I seem to remember quite a few people who have visited the park didn't like F2 too much. so probably not a great loss if it is
robbalvey Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 They announced the SLC is coming out? That's very strange! When we were there in September we talked to the General Manager of the park and he showed us the location of the new coaster. He didn't say anything about the SLC going and in fact he had us shoot a POV of it! Are you *SURE* the SLC is being removed? --Robb
Gutterflower Posted November 23, 2008 Author Posted November 23, 2008 the translation is a bit shoddy i admit We apologize for the inconvenience, butthe following attractions of the season will be cancelled and bon appétit. Two F (for the construction of an indoor coaster) I guess it may not be being removed but the article made it sound like it is
robbalvey Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 The translation from the website reads: 2008.11.11 We apologize for the inconvenience, but The following attractions will be closed for the season: Dec 1 (Mon) F Two (for the construction of an indoor coaster) Sounds like it's just closed for the season?
Gutterflower Posted November 23, 2008 Author Posted November 23, 2008 Hey out of interest which translator did you use? Google gave mine. I have changed the topic to suit. However its worth keeping an eye on it
Jew Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 IIRC, the construction site for the new coaster was right next to F2. Probably just closing the area down for construction access.
