Well, I'm just curious about crowds on Sundays since I'll be heading down to the park on closing day. This is my first time down on a sunday and on closing day.

Does anyone know what crowds are like on Halloweekend Sundays and/or Closing day?

Thanks in advance,

CB

I've been at Cedar Point 2 Sundays every month this fall. The crowds are usually light. Most rides have 1/2 hour wait or less except the big ones (Top Thrill Dragster, Millennium Force, Maverick). I have never been there on a closing day. Hopefully they won't be busy as I will also be there tomorrow.

Just got back, here's a quick note:

As said on the blog for today, 2008 was a Great season. I'll never forget the memories I had and made at Cedar Point this season, and cannot wait till 2009 begins in Sandusky.

Rides Ridden:

MF 2x

Dragster 1x

Raptor 1x

Skyhawk 1x

Gemini 2x

Blue and Mean Streak 1x

Magnum 1x

Maverick 1x

Every freaking thing 1x

Lines were less then 15 mins from 6:30 PM and onwards to closing.

Great time was had at the park this closing day, and we may go every closing day from here on out!

Good night!

As said before crowds were pretty good and it was a really laid back atmosphere, probably one of my favorite times at the park. Also, ran into an old friend(Bre on Magnum) hadnt seen her since 05(if anyone knows her contact info p/m me it please.) I got front seat on Top Thrill Dragster, Millennium Force, Raptor, and Maverick and probably just about anything else in under a half hour (usually 15 mins)

It was a really great time. Also Club Blood was pretty hilarious as one of the monsters "party boyed" one of my friends haha

"Welcome back Mean Streak riders, how was your ride?"

(Typical unenthusiastic response)

"...Damn right."

Only on closing day.

Same here! Pretty cool being on the latest OnPoint blog!

It was great! My longest wait was about 25 minutes for Maverick. Everything was pretty much either walk on or 20 minutes or less for the majority of the day!
