New Dutch themepark for 2011?

ADVENTURE WORLD

 

Adventure World is set to become Europe's largest indoor theme park, with 3D Thrill Ride Simulators that are as spectacular as they are unique in the world. Here visitors will be able to experience a wide range of adventures so real and life-like that they will be difficult to distinguish from the real thing.

 

Adventure World will be located on the yet to be realized new and trendy Beach Boulevard along the coastal area of Almere Poort, only 20 kilometres from Amsterdam. If everything goes according to plan Adventure World will be opened in 2011.

 

 

So it looks like Holland is going to get a new 'themepark' for 2011! 'Adventure World' will be build in the Dutch city Almere.

It isn´t going to be a regular themepark, wich you´ll see for yourself if you check out their site

 

So it isn't going to get any 'real' rides yet, but the park will contain unique simulators that have been designed only for Adventure World. By the looks of it, the simulators are really unique!

At one of the simulators, The Deep Blue Adventure, you'll have to get in a swimsuit, you'll be wearing special 3D-video goggles, and you will go under water for the simulator! It sure sounds unique...

 

It'll be Europe's biggest indoor themepark, with 35.000 square meters, and the building will be shaped like an enourmous sting-ray. The park itself will be a €18,000,000 investment, the whole boulevard around it is going to cost €1,800,000,000.

 

But how great it all may sound, I'm not sure if it will be worth a second visit once you've been there. And sure, for now it's unique, but will it still be unique when the park has been open for a few years..?

I guess we'll have to wait, as nothing has actually been build, but we'll see how it works out!

I've read about this already a while ago and although no real rides will be there, I will certainly visit this new park once it's open.

This isn't Holland, but Flevoland. It's an other part of the Netherlands.

 

I don't think this gets built. And if it's here, it will be closed in a year

As you can see in my name I come from Almere, and I don't think this park will be build. There is little enthousiasm when it comes to contracters. and although i'm a theme park addict I don't really look forward to this. It will cost the city a lot of money and I don't think a simulator-only park will make enough profit.

^Yeah, I would rather have an arcade or something. There cheaper and a bit more attractive in my opinion.

I mean what would you rather do, ride something that shows you some guy having a fun time skiing or would you like to play a game with some guy skiing.
