89James89 Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Well yer I've been working ont this park for the last week or so but its been going slowly. Uncle Freds Fun Park is being put on hold for a bit because I've always wanted to trya a plain amusement park and I have tried many times but could never get the right feel unitl now. So anyway yer this is the new park. So far we'll have to make do with the press release below but expect more soon. Oh and I'm not sure wether to do it in phases or seasons but oh well we'll figure that out later. Press Release: A newly formed company running under the name of Happy Times Park Group (HTPG) is happy to announce today that construction on their premier park is going well and they would liek to share some of the initial looks with you. This new park named Small Oaks Amusement Park will hopefully be the first steps in this company becoming a well known name here in the UK and the director is keen for its success. The park has confirmed it will be opening with two rollercoasters but as to what they are or look like is being kept secret for the time being. What we do have to show you however are these pictures of the entrance and ticket booths. So enjoy and comment and we'll see you soon. Ticket booths: From the carpark: And a entrance area overview. Please note this is still WIP and the merry go round has yet to be painted: So there we go hope you enjoy the first looks. Cheers 89James89 (NOTE: Like most of my parks this is no cs)
Steffen_Dk Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Agree with DBru - and that cookie building don't look ugly at all - weird.
KPWoCkAxX Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Looks great! Not visiting many parks myself I wouldn't be able to do ticket booths and what not like you have. I just wouldn't understand the layout. Looking forward to seeing more, KP
89James89 Posted September 19, 2008 Author Posted September 19, 2008 Replies: DBru: Thanks Steffen_DK: Thanks and yer I actually dont mind the cookie building or the in game donuts stand. KPWoCkAxX: Thanks and I dont visit a lot of aprks either (like 1 or 2 a year) but pcitures on internet help and I tend to do a lot of research for the realism content wheil building. Not much to show you here just the company logo which a few of you may have seen before but I was wondering what the rest of you think. Cheers 89James89 EDIT: Just realsied the image is ona white background. I will rectify that as soon as possbile so its blends in with the forum background (in other words turn the white to grey).
kamikazewatermelon Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Wow! this looks really good for no custom scenery!
