the ghost Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Hey guys here are some pictures of my first NL coaster Firebird.( The coaster will be painted for opening) It is B&M's first ever rocket with a top speed of about 50 miles per hour. The coaster so far features a barrel roll intop a loop( custom made) as well as a cobra roll.( slightly modified) There will be more to come soon as well as maybe a teaser. Enjoy
the ghost Posted September 5, 2008 Author Posted September 5, 2008 Hey guys I am pleased to introduce firebird 1.0. This includes the track but the supports are messed up so please dont comment on them. Also remember that this is my first NL coaster. Firebird 2.0 will happen when my support question is answered (thanks for helping DBru.) firebird.nltrack Enjoy firebird 2.0.nltrack Firebird 2.0 is here. Please comment
DBru Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 For a 1st coaster, it wasn't bad! Just remember to use "Ctrl+G" to smooth some of your segments, don't use a station for you brake-run, and keep you stations, brakes, and launches straight by selecting them and pressing "I".
the ghost Posted September 5, 2008 Author Posted September 5, 2008 Thanks so much for your positive feedback. I will be sure to remember this on my next coaster.( It will be a woodie)
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 No offense... but I'm suing you. I died like 6 or 7 times on that track. Like 5 of the supports on the two turns after the first bunny hill had their supports through one of the rails, and I got smacked with another support going into and out of the cobra roll, and then I valleyed(sp?).
monkeyoverlord71 Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 i tried version 2 and i got stuck halfway but its better than my first one
