I agree that Alpengiest is better than Griffon. (But not by much) I'm glad you all are having a great time.

Yeah... we actually went to SFA except I forgot to charge my camera that day...

The only thing I have against Alpengiest is its first drop. I don't know why, but its first drop to me does not feel any taller then Batman: The Rides. Then again, I really love Talon and Great Bear's first drop.... so heh it might just be me.

I think the problem with Alpengiests first drop is that it isn't steep enough. When I ride Black Mamba, I enjoy the drop more than Alpiegiests. BUt I think Alpengiest is just so intense, that it's still the greatest.

After the first drop, Alpengiest owns any invert I'VE RIDDEN (before anyone starts yelling at me, I know their is better inverts out there I've yet to ride). But it's first drop is... heh. Even Great Bear is more intense! But the rest of the layout is pure genius! Though I'd like to experience going through the G-Roll with no MCBR...

I believe the drop is mediocre because that trim after the lift is always on very heavy, and it's heavily trimmed in the block. It's just an overall heavily trimmed ride, but I still enjoy it.
