edboxer Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 My latest woodie - its a little woodie that wanders and turns. Some good airtime, ejector and floater. I wanted to make this one unpredictable, so the only sections of straight track are from the brake to the top of the lift hill. Feedback would be greatly appreciated Murgatroid.nltrack Murgatroid [NL]
DBru Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Well, it was a decent coaster! I loved the layout and pacing, but it could have used a lot more smoothing. Try using shorter segments. To slightly improve this coaster, I would split each of your segments into 2 (highlight each one, and press "y"), highlight everything except for the lift, brakes, & station, and press "Control+G". That should improve it at least a little bit...
Théo the little french Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Nice coaster! But it would be better if it were smoother
edboxer Posted June 23, 2008 Author Posted June 23, 2008 OK, exactly what do either of you mean by "smoother." Are you referring to the slight jerkiness of the helix which was planned or the slight hesitation at the top of each hill which is realistic, and from a physics standpoint, correct. I'm stumped.
schrubber Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Your coaster was quite ok. It was a bit boring because the layout includes too much straight track (a slightly modified bunnyhop after another). Greetings schrubber
Théo the little french Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Are you referring to the slight jerkiness of the helix which was planned I think this is the place wich needs the most of being smoother.
