Speeddeamon128 Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 So today was the first day of my summer vacation and I decided to see if HellCat was working, so I drove about 2.5 miles away from my house & to my surprise it WAS! The "New" Clementon Park sign. Me Standing in line for HellCat. Finally after weeks of waiting I saw life on this coaster Here's some shots of the park. The Slush Factory is AWESOME Swings. Carousel. Sea Dragon. The new Lagoona Kahuna was up & running. One of the park's oldest rides. Inverter. Here's some HellCat pics. The rides new logo. Going down the 110 ft drop. Over the second hill. I think this ride got slower since last year. Also it isn't as rough as it was. I rode it 10x today and now have 114 roller coaster rides this year! Here's a look at the old Jack Rabbit sight! Chaos!? Watch the video! Day Conclusion: HellCat=10x
John Peck Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 Its not a bad looking park, I can't wait to see what the owners have in store for it. So what other types of rides do they have besides the Chance rides pictured?
Speeddeamon128 Posted June 21, 2008 Author Posted June 21, 2008 Are there still trims on Hellcat's drop? From the POV clip at the end it looked like there wasn't any trims. (2:15 in the video) Yes thats why the ride slowed down (I took the POV 2 years ago thats why it looks faster)

They Also have Kiddie land and a log flume which was closed when I went however it is a pretty good flume.
andy_e219 Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 Mice TR, and not a bad looking park. I think the name Hellcat is just begging to be changed again.
Wood Dragon 1988 Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Funny how everyone's saying "its not a bad looking park" and I've heard a few people say it is one of the worst parks ever. Nonetheless, it is one of the closest amusement parks I have never visited. I'd like to give it a try!
Thom25 Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 It really does seem like a nice family park - and Hellcat looks decent, though trims always ruin a coaster imo. Great TR, pics, and vids - thanks for sharing - wish the POV was of the whole ride and not just the first two drops - but great nonetheless.
All Clear Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Yes. They should change the coaster's name and logo again.

Thom25 Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Thanks - great video - must be nice to have it so close
Speeddeamon128 Posted June 22, 2008 Author Posted June 22, 2008 Thanks - great video - must be nice to have it so close Yea espicially when I have nothing to do I can just drive over there, ride HellCat a couple of times, and leave & since I have a season pass its basically FREE
Thom25 Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 I had the same mind set the first few years RoS was open at SFNE. It's 90 minutes for me - but before the ankle straps - the ride ROCKED and was worth the trip. Now it's just so uncomfortable to ride, I only go once or twice a year - I honestly prefer the 12 hour drive to CP when I have a long weekend free.
