the ghost Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Over the last few years there has been talk of an amusement park heading to Anchorage Alaska so this will be Alsakas only theme park. The park has been given to Paramount because they are to be given one last chance but if this park does badly then it will be given to Cedar Fair. This park will have a fighting chance because James Disney who is a direct relative of Walt Disney not to mention a retired imagineer says he has some very creaive ideas for this park. He is quoted saying " This will be an everyone park kind of like Disney, but unlike Disnet not ever ride will be a family ride. We are currently building a B&M floorless called GODSCREAM which will take guests through a deserted and cursed temple where the Gods will assault the guests as the temple of the Gods have been disturbed. This is rumored to have a few effects as well as be one of a kind and supposedly does something not many B&M's do. In fact there is only one other B&M that feaures The park so far Lost World- A lush jungle area where the gods rule. This are will contain very many elaborate buildings and waterfalls. This will be a very highly themed area and when we get the photos tomorrow the theming will not be completely finished GODSCREAM is a B&M floorles coaster that features a dark ride section as well as four inversions which consist of a vertical loop, two inline twists and a corkskres, currently the only ride in this section although a rapids style ride called the Lost River Delta is a rumored expansion to this area of the park. Guests must be 54 inches to ride godscream Timber Oak Woods- An area located in the woods. There is currently a small coaster but a larger coaster is already in the works and will hopefully be open for opening day and if it is not then it will open very early in the season. Coyote is a very small Zamperla wooden coaster that is terrain based. This coaster is rumored to be a perfect family ride but may soon be getting a big brother called Timberwold which will also be in Timber Oak Guests must be 40 inches tall to ride coyote wilderness Racer is a terrain based go cart ride Freebird are swings in the forest section that go along with the kynard Skynard masterpiece PHOTOS POSTED TOMORROW
DBru Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Sounds like a pretty hard concept to work with, it will be interesting to see how it comes out! I liked your explanation, now bring on the pics!
BRTeller Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Sounds really cool, can't wait for pictures, is this RCT3 or 2? Also there is a small theme park in Alaska, with a arrow looper. Not 100% positive, I know they at least used to have one.
the ghost Posted April 13, 2008 Author Posted April 13, 2008 Thanks guys. I will hopefully have an update up by tomorrow. Also the park has nothing to do with Alaska yet besides the fact that it is in Alaska although there will be stuff that later has more to do with Alaska.
the ghost Posted April 14, 2008 Author Posted April 14, 2008 I just got a laptop so the first update may still be posted tonight but it will be later after I convert RCT 2 to my laptob and work on a new coaster for a new project me and a specific person are working on. So yeah um I may have it up by tonight and if not then it will be up for sure by tomorrow.
DBru Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Haha, that was a total reference to me! Anyway, I really hope you get this update up soon, because I'm interested to see what your doing with this park!
