dammie16@vt.edu Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Second post of the night for my Intamin hyper twister.... Monsoon! It twists through valleys and trees and is just a lot of fun. It features a mid course stop-launch and gets some decent air on its last two crests! Enjoy! P.S. If you dl'd my coaster Chrono this one is more realistic I promise! Update: Sorry for the long delay but I had class this morning! I fixed the lift hill, got some of the pumping out of that turn into MCB, got rid of red G's in the sea serpent, and I think that is it. Note: I only rerode in the front so if you find reds let me know. Oh almost forgot, got rid of the death trees View from first drop, not much to see...which is the fun! It is hidden in the hills. You can see its twisty nature, It is not doing what you think it is here! Monsoon.nltrack Monsoon V2
DBru Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 I really liked the first part! Definitely your best yet... But there are still problems: -Lots of pumps -Red G's -Curved lift hill (don't smooth the lift, straighten it, but only the middle piece...)
dammie16@vt.edu Posted April 9, 2008 Author Posted April 9, 2008 I just rode it again and I saw that nasty pump at the top of the lift Can't believe I didn't see that...
DBru Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 ^It's okay. lol. Why don't you work on it a bit, then post an updated version?
thrillrideseeker Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 WOW!! That was entertaining!! Only a few problems! - Your station is about 5 times longer than the train. - Your lift is not straight. - Your coaster hits trees all over the place. - Your break run was slanted. - Your G's are so not acceptable. - Your banking... OMG... it was... very awkward. I think that is all... I will go re-ride and see if I missed anything! ~Matthew
dammie16@vt.edu Posted April 13, 2008 Author Posted April 13, 2008 Just bumping this since I updated it!
DBru Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 It was better. I still like the layout, it's pumpy though. But I'm glad you've got the forces down. There was only one red g; right after the launch.
